New Zealand beaten By England in 1st T 20 Match of Bilateral Series

New Zealand was scheduled to play a 3 Match T 20 International matches series in New Zealand. Both teams are playing very good cricket till time and it will be very interesting to see both battle it out in this series. But England hold the upper hand as per its past performance  when they beat New Zealand last time they visited New Zealand and beat them by 3-0 in 3 match t 20 series but you can never know with cricket and T 20 matches.

The 1^st match of the series was to be played on Lords, London, England.

England won the toss and opts to bat first, so this means New Zealand will bowl first. England batted very well and was able to score 150 runs in allotted 20 over’s at the loss of only 2 wickets and with contributions of Dimitri M C who made 50 runs in 20 balls with 6 4’s and 2 sixes at the strike rate of 250 runs in 100 balls faced and O Shah made 30 runs in 20 balls with 2 four’s and 2 sixes at the strike rate of 150 runs in 100 balls faced.

New Zealand was needed to score 151 runs in allotted 20 over’s to win this 1st T 20 match.

New Zealand batted poorly and was only able to make 80 runs and were bowled out in only 15.2 over’s and with the contribution of J Fulton who made 60 runs in 30 balls with 4 4’s and 4 sixes at the strike rate of 200 runs in 100 balls.

England won the match by 70 runs and Dimitri M was the Man of the match for his great batting.
