Bangladesh started very badly and lost their 5 wickets for only 26 runs in 10.3 over’s in the form of K Mashud, M hossain, A Islam, A khan and F ahmed. But after that they batted sensibly and post a total of 185 runs in 50 over’s at the loss of 9 wickets with the contribution of Minhajul Abedin who scored 68 runs in 116 balls with 6 4’s and strike rate of 58 runs in 100 balls and N Rahman made 36 runs in 58 balls with 5 4’s at the strike rate of 62 runs in 100 balls.
Scotland was required to get 186 runs in 50 over’s to win the contest.
Scotland started badly and lost three wickets in quick sensation and then after that also they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 163 runs in 46.2 over’s and only Gavin Hamilton played well as he only scored above 50 i.e. 63 runs in 71 balls with 4 4’s and 1 six and strike rate of 89 runs in 100 balls.
Bangladesh won the game by 22 runs and Minhajul Abedin was the Man of the match.
