I like to Have the Home Cooked Food At most days

We almost like to eat outside whether its pizza, burger, hamburger or anything else, but I have seen some who always eat outside and loves to eat outside only may be they think that it’s more profitable for them to eat outside rather then make food in home which will demand more time and care as well. It though is questionable but still I thought and I always like to eat the home cooked food as it’s more healthy, tasty and full of hygiene as well. But yeah occasionally we can think of having our lunch or dinner or even Afternoon snack outside as its good to change the taste some times.

As I live in India, we have many fast food chains and some are exclusively Indians like Pani puri (These are like balls made of Wheat flour or Suzi ( Smolina), they are very tasty and it is served with spicy water which is made by adding spices, salt, masala and Tamarind as well to give it a unique taste of sweet and sour.

By eating outside most of the time, we cannot save much money because it’s always expensive to eat outside and it will never save us any money. I only eat outside probably once a month or may be twice because for me nothing can even compare with taste with home cooked food and that my by mother. We like to have chapatti in most of our meals whether it’s Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Chapatti is like a bread of what flour in round shape and made on Flat fry pans. And it provides us energy to perform our day to day work. Some in India are used to have Rice in all meals but not us. Actually I have heard that many of my Philippines friends also like to have Rice in all of their meals and they love it that way only.

It’s a Good Habit to Eat the Home cooked Food.

    • Really you have water there that is spiced?! Wow! I am sure I will like that as I am fond of moderately spicy foods.

Eating out can be expensive. We only do it occasionally of when there is a need to do so, like we went shopping at the mall and got hungry.

Though sometimes too, I crave for fries and cheeseburger, especially when dismissal comes and I am already hungry. So I would go inside the mall where I always wait for the jeepney in going home and eat them at my favorite fastfood outlet. I cannot wait for hubby because he is still working later than me, so I would usually eat alone.

But of course, still homemade foods are the best. Not only because they are healthy, but we are sure that they are not laden with additives.

      • Actually they make the water spicy and sweet and sour by adding tamarind paste and salt and peppers and it is enjoyed with balls which are called pani puri's or Gol gappa's

        • Oh so that's how it is made to be spicy. Buta after drinking such water, will you still be wanting the regular water to wash it down?

I am amazed at the people from India, because they always have many spices in their cooking. No wonder, it is a rarity that I see an obese Indian national.

I think these spices are what keeps your bodies always of moderate built if not slim.

    • I tell you my story in my next blog. :)

I not only eat the home cooked food but I cook at home! It's not only for save money, but to control the diet and weigh of mine and my family members, especially my daughter. And, to take care of the picky dieter, my son's stomach and provide him with more variety of food choice.

More important, I am their diet designer, which in turn will reflect on the health condition and less fall into sick for sure.
