Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia anywhere in the world has been the problem of every person for this sickness usually attacks the aged in their late 60’s and 70’s onward.   4. Keep it safe. You are required to always use the sauna with someone in your family so someone has your back. You should also remove your contact lens and all metal objects before entering the sauna.
  5. Stay comfortable. You are required to stay only if you feel comfortable in sauna. The main risk of sauna is if you stay too long and fainting from overheating.
  6. Post-sauna shower. Following the sauna session, gently scrub the toxins and sweat from your skin in a warm or hot shower. Finish your sauna with thirty seconds or more of cold water to close the pores. It may take you to get used to. Just have regular practice and you will like to cold water to close the sauna session.

    • Addendum: It is very necessary for us to protect our brain. I had posted here blogs with best foods that prevent all kinds of brain problem. If you happen to read this try to read by blog that protects your brain from this kind of disease on memory loss. The sickness is so bad that anyone sick of this can not anymore consistently recall his life.

      • Good thing you posted this. At least, I now know that it is important that we should release or those chemicals from lotions etc. from our body.

        I think having a hot bath can already be a good substitute to a sauna as a sauna can indeed be quite expensive besides there are no saunas available here in our place. DO you have them in your place?

    • An aging process is an inevitable stage of life.The manner of its course cannot be avoided.
      Alzheimer's disease is a progressive medical condition. Dementia is one of the clinical manifestation.I am sure that caregiver needs to closely monitor their patients.The severity of the disease varies from one person to another.Personal hygiene will be the biggest problem due to severe forgetfulness.The most effective management for this is to label all the things around the house.Checklist at beside can be useful to know what to do on a daily basis.

      Regression is one of the course of aging process.It is definitely progressive in nature.For some elders, they can be frustrated for having Alzheimer's disease.In some occasions, some family members cannot handle such situation.That's the reason why some elders were been checked-in certain senile facilities.

    • @Dina, that is true, we have to clean our skin before going to bed for the dirt that clogs onto our skin accumulates then sooner or later, they become the cause of a sickness like memory loss. Our body is so sensitive.There are many things to be done to have a healthy body. When a person is younger, lots of abuses were ignored and all those done will be realized when feel something malicious and disruptive to the body. To God be the glory.

    • @Shavkat, you are right my friend, it is so frustrating to see our friends and close to our heart forgetting the,selves due to this sickness called dementia. This is a terrible and horrible disease that must be avoided during old age.There are many food supplements and natural that prevent the aged person to suffer memory loss. It is truly right that prevention is better that cure. Sauna is so expensive this time, so at home, we have to take a bath in a lukewarm water.
