  1. EMIRATES

It was founded in 1985; at first it flies only two aircraft. It has now 230 aircraft. It currently flies more than 80 countries. It makes 1, 500 flights departing Dubai each week to destinations on six continents.

2. QATAR AIRWAYS
It offers to more than 140 destinations worldwide. It offers levels of excellent services. It is an award winning carrier. It spans business and leisure across Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific, North and South America.

3. SINGAPORE AIRLINES

Singapore Airlines are one of the most respected travel brands around the world. It has hast flown a youngest aircraft in the world. It provides high standard s of care and service. Its network spreads over six continents.

4. CATHAY PACIFIC AIRWAYS

It was voted Airline of the year in 2014, and won the World’s Best Airline award for the fourth time. It operates more than 150 aircraft to 130 destinations across the globe.

  1. ANA ALL NIPPON AIRWAYS

It is a Japanese airline and is the 13th largest airline in the world by revenues (2013). It was founded in 1952. ANA flies 72 international routes and 115 domestic routes with  a fleet of 240 aircraft . ANA was the launch  customer of Boeing 787.

  1. ETIHAD AIRWAYS

Etihad airways started its operation in November 2003.This airline seeks to reflect the best of Arabian hospitality. It flies to destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas. It has a fleet of 117 Airbus and Boeing aircraft.

  1. TURKISH AIRLINES

This was established in 1933. It has at first operated with five airplanes. with a fleet of only five airplanes. Turkish Airlines flies to more countries in the world over five continents , passenger and cargo . It has a fleet of 261 aircraft flying to 243 cities around the world. any other airline (105 countries over five continents). Turkish Airlines now has a fleet of 261 aircraft (passenger and cargo) flying to 243 cities around the world.

    • I made a research on these top 10 airlines and I notice that these 10 are so famous. I do not know the criteria of judging them best. I might research on this to make the news complete. It is not easy actually, but I also like to know as I a always traveling abroad and all expense from my foreigner boyfriend hehehehe. I feel so lucky for having met Dennis from Auckland, for I was able to visit so many countries at his expense, but never had I traveled on these airlines especially this time, there is direct flight going there through Philippine Airlines.Someday, when I go to United Sates, or Canada, I want to choose Cathay.
