Thanks to technology it is no longer an arduous task to click photos of everything under the sun. And this photo is about the sun. One needs to be alert lest one should miss the shots of a life time. It is not everyday that one can see the sun posing for us as it did in this photo.
We have our house facing the East and so we get to see generous views of sunrise, each morning. I was out with my camera one morning and I was blinded by the sun’s reflection on one of our louvre windows. we have vertical louvres most of them are clear glass – a great place for the sun to reflect.
This image that you see here is the sun’s reflection through one of our plants. This plant is known as Song of India.
It is amazing how my faithful camera managed to capture this reflection – a reflection of an object which is thousands and thousands of miles away. This scene is quite rare this part of the globe and so getting it captured in my camera for me was the most exciting moment.
One need not be an expert at photography but with a bit of creativity it is possible to aim and shoot. Creativity and a passion for photography is a good combination to get great photos. I seem to be blessed with that quality. One also needs to be alert as some views are short lived like the one here. If I had not noticed it on time, I would have missed this great opportunity.
With a passion for photography specially if one has interest in nature it binds the photographer with nature – a situation that creates a feeling of peace and tranquillity. I have endless opportunities to be one with nature. I have my garden to provide me that. Adding to this is the sun showing up every day in its different avatars.

It seems you are a great photographer. Modern cameras and cell phones are there to make photography a more simple and enjoyable activity.
Now we do not need to develop photos in the dark rooms. We don't need to go to some studio, just take your camera or cell phone with yourself, select some scene and consider your job done.
We are now in a better position to capture the beauty of nature. Capturing natural scenes with the help of a camera is a fun.
I do love this activity. I make good use of my cell phone whenever I see some natural scene.
Photography is my passion and there is not a single day that I miss using it.
