Do not disturb. No classes today.
Where have all the teachers gone? Busy?
Nah, they are relaxing: spa, body massage, hair rebond. Don’t you know, its Teachers Day today. The most important people to mold our future are celebrating their day. The moment they ward off that stress from annoying students, sleepless making of lesson plan, checking the quizzes and exams, cleaning and managing the classroom. Let’s not forget, the guidance counselor of every student.
Let’s give them a break from days’ work and stress. Students, especially the root of her headache, don’t approach them now, please.
World Teachers Day will be on October but in the Candon City Division, the DepEd decided to hold the Medical, Dental Mission and Wellness Day. More than 300 teaching and non-teaching staff went to civic center for the celebration. The teachers and non-teaching personnel are in their polo uniform. After the short program that guests delivered speeches, the wellness started.
Ten doctors from medical society, twenty five reflexologist witn NC II qualifications, beauticians among others are present to cater the needs of the teachers. They were given free blood pressure, free blood sugar testing, blood typing, medical check-up, dental check-up and tooth extractions, therapeutic massage and reflexology, free vitamins and medicines. These are just few of the services the teachers received for a whole day program.
According to Division Head, this is the second year this activity held. And just like last year, these services were given to the teachers.
This is a laudable program that Education department had initiated. Our teachers who guide us, teach us, and mold us to become a good person that landed us to a brighter future deserve the satisfaction for their life. Once in a while, they should be relaxing, enjoying their life and not just standing or sitting in the classroom.
Our teachers deserve the wellness of living, though it happen once in a while.
Happy Teachers Day.

We owe our teachers a great deal. They are usually overworked and underpaid. We should always teach our children to be courteous towards their teachers. However the school administration should keep a vigilant eye on teachers and not allow them to be cruel or hit the children. Physical punishments must be against school policy everywhere in the world.
YAY! YAY! Don't know if any teachers can hear me. Don't know if my teachers who taught me can hear me. But I want them to know I will be grateful to them forever! Their positive influence is ever present. Happy Teachers Day!!
Teachers are people should accorded all the respect that they need in this world. Without teachers most of us would not be here today. They are very important in our lives and in th3 lives of he growing children in the society.I for one respect all the techers who took the time to sit down with me and take me through my lessons each day, I never take advantage of my teachers at all they are the reason I am who I am today. Not to say that my parents had nothing to do with me that had the first hand then teachers also chipped in. Many may say that sometimes they are too severe or too harsh on Thu kids, but the truth is without this kid's would be unruly towards their elders this making them immoral. So for this I would like to say thank you teachers and happy teachers day to you all.
