I’ve been watching television on line because in my 4th World country there isn’t much to watch on television.
Yes, there was a time many U.S. programs were aired, so that from about 8 pm to 11 pm both stations were at war, this one showing “House” that one broadcasting “CSI”… but that was then. Now local television is pure rubbish.
Further, there is no informative schedule…i.e. 10 pm tonight is a ‘drama’. What is that?
The only way to stay in reality is to watch television online.
There are many sites which assist in this endeavour. This is good, because these sites go up and down like a roller coaster.
Some are attacked by the ‘owners of copyright’ some are sabotaged. Never does the significance of having choice matter more than when trying to watch programs online.
Some programs can be watched without difficulty on a site like watchepisodes1.net. Some can’t.
Some episodes of programs are glitched, they stop and then revert to start.
Some of the sites on which one can view either go down, are taken down, demand one sign up, or some other negative factor.
To watch Narcos in relative peace, one has to go to fmovies.to. Not that it isn’t jerky but it does work.
This brings me to the program; Narcos.
This is an original series on Netflix. It is the story of Pablo Escobar, as well as other Cocaine cartels.
The show is set and filmed in Columbia. The Columbian characters speak Spanish. There are subtitles. The American DEA and other Embassy officials speak English.
There is a sense of realism as actual News footage is interspersed.
The facts are simple, Pablo Escobar became a billionaire through his cocaine empire. He was a murderer who had no scruples in blowing up a plane or shooting innocent people.
He never becomes sympathetic. He is not romanticised.
The pursuit of Escobar by Americans and Colombians, (sometimes together, sometimes at cross purposes) is the central theme.
The corruption in Columbia is clear. In any situation where a criminal enterprise can operate successfully, there must be those giving information to the ‘enemy’.
The show was so well done, it won awards. Although it was set to ‘end’ with the death of Escobar, the program Narcos is mooted to continue in 2017 with the rise of the Cali Cartel.
This is a group which split from the Medellin Cartel when Pablo Escobar began his descent.

The theme of the show just timely for my country because of the current war on drugs. So, after Colombia, Philippines now is popular all over the world because of the tagged 'extra judicial killing'. But they don't know how drugs destroys many lives and future of the children. During the height of drugs, there are so many news about a father raping his daughter, a man raping a 3 years old girl or even younger or even his grandmother and other elderly people. Some commit suicide by burning themselves.
Its so happen, I cannot watch it online because my internet service is kind of slow.
