    • yes. I totally accept that it is a social necessity. But, I think still it is not a necessity. Two good friends can a happy life together without any marriage. Where is the need to have children? A legacy? If it is only for this they can adopt somebody who is already there. They can distribute their love and affection towards these needy people.

But, many people do not do this. They neither adopt poor children from orphan homes nor remain as childless. They go for second marriage. In some cases even third . What is the use of it? Ladies also not lagging behind. She is preferring another husband if she does not have children with the first. This action shows that it is only for children they are getting married.

If it is not for children, the love and affection that are mentioned can be derived from anybody without any marriage.

They can remain as such without any misunderstanding till their last breath.
This concept is taking place in the modern society by the name 'LIVE-in PARTNER'.

Is there any alternative for this?

It will be surprising to note that this Live-in partner is remaining loyal and lovable though not acceptable for marriage. Why this change is taking place in the human outlook is not clear.

One has to dig out the reasons for this social change.

    • For me, marriage is a lifetime commitment that will linger with the two hearts forever. I firmly believe in the importance of having a so called significant other in our life to spice things up. To have someone beside you to grow old gracefully, to talk with anything under the sun, to have a cup of coffee, and to share the rest your life with through your ups and down. Remember that married life is not for everybody it really depends on how people forsee things towards their future. There are three phase of life that is destined for everyone. First, Married Life. Second, Religious Life. Third, Single Blessedness.

    • Marriage is not easy thing but yes it is most unique experience of life. We need to be more responsible for everything. And most important and good thing is that we get one really good friend for our self for life time which will be with us for each and every moment. Yes that is different thing that for that we need one understanding one.

I am very happy with my marriage life so its going really well for me.

    • All the reasons you have given above are quite true, but I may disagree with one point where you have said that people marry for Romance, I may not agree with that part because people get romantically involved with their friends even before marriage, that's the world of today. It's not like during the days of our parents where people waited for marriage before they could get intimate with one another, then once they got married that bond was sealed until death tore them apart. That how worked during those days, and if you broke it then the society dealt with you thoroughly. Today even when those vows are taken, they are not followed to the latter, people break them like it's no big deal. maybe it's because before they got married they tested the waters and found out they were sweet but later when they got into the marriage the waters started tasting sour, and this leading to places where they did not expect divorce. Another reason why people today are getting married is for financial gain. This is really taking over marriages. Money has become a huge deal that nothing else really matters. All people want is to get married to a rich person then once they get what they want that start misbehaving and doing their spouse's wrong so that they can leave them and start a new life with someone else very unfortunate but that's the naked truth about marriages nowadays no one is willing to love genuinely and living for real.

    • Your points are correct!Marriage is needed for men and women especially on the points you mentioned above.I agree with all of the points.Marriage should be all embracing.Keep it up!
