Youtube has been in the news all for the right reasons. It has been in existence for many years now offering many facilities for users who have an account with them.
This blog is about creating your own slid show using their slideshow software which is free
1. Login to your account. If you do not have an account you should open using Google Gmail
2. When you login your account will open. Click on upload which you will see on the top right of your page.
3. Click on create slide show
4. Choose any option you see there to create a slidshow album You can also open individuals photos from your computer
5. Choose how you want your slideshow should look from the options there
6. Choose music for the background
7. Add a title to your slide show
8. Watch a preview.
9. Upload the slideshow.

Youtube also has a movie maker which again is free upto a video lasting 5 minutes. It is a great software with all features that allows you to record your own voice and add your own music.
They also have the help section which can be followed to create your video.
They also offer you partnership where you can earn. For this you must have enough clicks on videos. You will have to agree to Ads appearing on your videos as well. I am a partner but I have so far not earned anything. Probably they want clicks and views by the thousands.
Watching movies is another opportunity that youtube has provided for viewers. The movies that they have in their storage, run into millions. You just need to search for them. There is also a provision to download and share them.

I used windows movie maker to do a video and upload it on youtube account but of course it was a slide show of my picture with a chosen music background.
I too have used windows movie maker and uploaded in youtube but this I find is quite easy and fast. You can do it with a single activity. Youtube also has movie maker - upto 5 minutes it is free. It has several features. I have downloaded that software and use it sometimes. You have to be online for this unlike the windows movie maker.
I think its a great thing to learn how to make slideshow through youtube. We can always make it in some programs but having doing it in youtube and ready to post is a great deal.
I keep saying I'm going to do this. Thanks for this tutorial. Bookmarked it for reference.
