INCOMPETENCE SUCKS

Incompetence Sucks!

I just strolled into a digital photo printing company to print just a single 5×7 inch picture. Normally, this is not supposed to take not up to 20 minutes to complete but time-check now tells me I have spent a whopping 2 hours, 30 minutes already. What else and how else can one get a clearer definition of incompetence if not from this kind of practical showing here.

Let us just consult the dictionary for a formal definition of this word. The little dictionary app on my phone defines incompetence as the state of being unskilled or lacking normally expected degree of ability.
Now, someone walks into your office with a promise of prompt and accurately satisfying service; probably you have put up an advert showing how prompt and highly satisfying your services are. With that high hopes, he places an order for a service or a product as the case may be. He moves to have a sit to wait for the finished product. Actually, you promised to do the work in 10 minutes but 30 minutes later, the client is still waiting for his work. Nothing kills business more than this.
Not meeting up with deadlines for promised output has no better definition than incompetence. Every businessman or woman who is actually serious with the work he has come to do and building his or her business into an empire must come out fully to tackle incompetence. This is essentially true, especially for startups and small businesses.
What is it you think is a bottleneck in your production cycle. Look intently into your business and be proactive with it. What and what actually takes my time? What are the hitches we normally encounter while trying to satisfy our customers.
After asking those questions, then go ahead to provide answers for them. Implement your answers and see your business take another turn northwards.
