Office Supplies is my middle name

Actually my middle name is not Office Supplies, but the fact is …

I worked at Bizmart. I had to memorize every single pen, pencil, pencil refill, ink jet cartridge, stapler, push pins, etc all the way down to software and computers, printers, fax machines and scanners. Yea. I knew it all. I was the go for guy.

So if you need to know a little about office supplies and such ask me and I will try to steer you in the right direction.

Based on my experience back in the days of OfficeMax and Windows 3.11 for Work Groups, and Windows 95 I was the guy who had you covered either in ink jet or laser jet cartridges, Zip disks, Surge protectors and of course, the best ball point retractable pens under one roof.

The idea of getting your office supplies all under one roof is nothing new but we usually went to the local five and dime to pick up pens and notebooks and loose leaf notebook paper for school. These supplies existed in small amounts in local drug stores, dime stores and department stores.
Even Walmart and Target has a section that is devoted to office supplies but then there are office supplies for the casual home office user and there are office supplies for medium to large offices.
OfficeMax and Office Depot provide everything from copy making, binding, supplying office furniture and computer software and printing paper to name just a few things. Practically everything they sell is devoted to the individual office or home/office user or can supply a major corporation with computer systems, telephone and digital equipment for dictations, conference call phones, laser and ink jet printers and scanners, and to top it all off they have a good selection of high quality office stationery supplies for those who want to add a touch of class and decorum to their office environment, down to the coffee supplies most business rely on for their associates on their break time.
This is one of the best things under one roof. It is a one stop office supply center that caters to most all people who take a professional approach to their business. I really learned a lot from working there. I learned that customer service was top priority and that the customer appreciated the personal attention given to them as this is becoming a lost art and most often we find ourselves in a Home Depot or a Target feeling like we are lost in a huge warehouse with no one to help us find what we need so in that respect, for all the large box stores out there, customer service is becoming harder to find and so are the coffee makers.

That is about all for now. remember not to double park. Just saying.

      • I had to start at rock bottom in that business and worked my way up to computer sales but it was a definite benefit to my own personal motivation.

    • I am glad you are expert on something, for sure even if you get all stress out sometimes, it is not easy to leave your job. I know you love your job.

    • that list I saw in your blog was long enough but I am sure there must have been many more items in there and beyond.
