This is another bottle of nail polish I have been keeping a close eye on. Ever since I ordered it last Christmas, I have wanted to use this holographic nail polish on my nails. This is my first bottle of holographic nail polish and I thought that the idea of having a nail polish that changes its shade according to the lighting and angle is super sexy and trendy! So I was so happy to see this bottle of OPI Muir Muir On the Wall on sale last Christmas from Amazon and I am definitely happy with this bargain! The only downside to the deal was most nail polish sellers I found thru Amazon does not ship directly to Ireland (or does not offer free shipping) when it comes to cheap OPI nail polish. That’s why I ended up having to send these through a Parcel Motel and paid for shipping. But in the end, it still ended up cheaper than buying it over here!
I decided to use this for the first time during our weekend away to Kilkenny. Usually, I try to “play it safe” on my choice of nail polish when I go to hotels or trips since I don’t want colors to clash too much with my clothes. Black would’ve been the safest choice for me but I decided that this holographic nail polish is a good change not to mention I have been wanting to paint my nails using this for weeks already but just found other colors much more attractive to try!
From the bottle, you can see that the color changes from a chrome-y black to violet or maybe a little bit greenish – depends on where the light source is. Similar to other OPI nail polish I have, this is very easy to apply and thin. It is easy to build the color, too.
However, unlike other OPI nail polish bottles I have, it took me three coats just to even out the color. I noticed that after the second coat, some fingernails were OK but some weren’t. I very rarely have to coat my nails three times but I wanted to even the chrome look throughout my finger nails. So just to make sure that everything will be of the same shade, I applied three coats for all my nails.
I am really happy with this and so far, this is one of the longer lasting nail polish I have used on my hands. It lasted for 6 days and I only have to remove it because my fingernails start to grow! But then again, I am on vacation when I had this on so I didn’t do any work while I had it – not until we came back! Still, this is one of my favorite shades of nail polish from my ever-growing stash. It is still a bit warm over here despite the moody Irish “summer” so I try to stop myself from using this shade again – saving for autumn!

Sounds like a pretty good product. Some nail polish has fumes and isn't healthy to use but the nail polish you're displaying here seems to be alright. I haven't tried the polish. There's plenty of nail polish in the home.I don't I need to purchase anymore but appreciate a great review. The color is bold. It seems that you're enjoying the purchases. Appreciate the review.
Oh, this is definitely one of my favorite colours right now :) The nail polish is very easy to use on my fingernails and easy to build up the color. I like OPI nail polish in general but sometimes, the price puts me off that's why I wait until it goes on sale.
