There is no end to the innovative ideas that keep cropping up in the minds of those who are expert organizers of parties. Those who are in business of event management they have to come up with new ideas to add a sense of newness to different events they plan.
At any informal party be it for adults or kids, several party games are organised. Group forming and having competitive games is quite common. But forming groups is where something unique can come up. Mostly, numbers are used. They are written on slips of paper and participants have to look for common numbers. The same is the case with names of flowers, animals or any other objects.
At one of my Christmas parties I just wanted to do it differently. I searched online and came across sites that were selling smiley badges. I ordered for two batches and as and when guests arrived each of them were given a badge which they were told to pin them on so that others could see them.
There were number of games organised using these badges.
There was on game where guests had to look around for guests with badges that matched their own and that group managed to do it first were the winner.
After forming groups each group had to perform, either a dance or sing a song. There were judges to adjudge the best group.
Some had to search for their pair and do a ‘couple’ dance.
These smiley badges in a way united the guests – kind of a commonness that made them feel they belonged.
The badges that I ordered had all happy faces with different expressions. Guests had to group them based on these expressions.
These smiley badges created happy moments each time a party game was announced . There was hectic activity running around looking for their mates. Most being kids there was no dearth of noise and laughter.

This is really fun for the kiddos. I am sure the four corner is full of happiness and laughter. It is also overwhelming to have fun with the kids. This kind of experience will always be remembered if they grow up.
