Beaches in India

My dear Friends when we discuss about India we mostly talk about temples, religious places and so many other things but you will be surprised to note that India is surrounded by oceans from three sides and Himalaya on the northern side. I will try to give you an idea about the different popular Indian beaches and sea resorts in my present series “Beaches in India”.

Lakshadweep Islands

Lakshadweep Islands is one of the most visited beaches situated in the south west coast of India and is known as one of the best of its kind, may be a little lesser known compared to big names but not lacking in its beautiful scenic and peaceful surroundings and not to mention the world class facilities the island has to offer to its innumerous visitors those come here.

Situated about 250 miles in the Arabian Sea in India, well connected with Kerala by air and ships, is one of the best costal area. With lots of activities like boating, spa parlors massage centers, scuba diving and walking along the sea shores is something unique this place has on offer for the visitors those come here round the year.

As I have mentioned in my different travel related posts that the beaches in India have unique and interesting water sports facilities for tourists. Lakshadweep is no exception but famous for Scuba Diving that means “Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus”.

Now, if you feel that one has to be an expert swimmer to be a scuba diver you have nothing to worry about because even if you know basics of swimming or even do not know how to swim you would be able to enjoy the adventures sports.
