5 Tips How to Stay Sane in the Fast Lane

Parenting has never been easy for me nor anyone.

Both of us , mom and dad had hectic life to deal with office work, household chores and educating our kids.

Married couples are pressured by older parents to produce more children, preferable “Super child” with multi-talents and super intelligent then technology.

Everyone has to deal with this insane lifestyle in this modern world where everyone and everything is going in fast lane.

Hence, pressure, stress and unbalance diet induce health risk problems which you are least expected.

Here are 5 Tips how to stay SANE in the fast lane of our daily lifestyle

# 1 – Learn to handle stress

Nobody could avoid stress nor pressure. Even little children are dealing with stress at tender age.

Stress is part of our life. It is inevitable problem that people of all age, all walks of life had to face it someday or daily.

Busy parents have to learn how to handle with stress amicably by listing out the problems and what are the causes.

Then, they can discuss over the problems, steps on how to control them from reoccurring, make a point to try overcome one problem at a time with effort and time spent.

Try to get rid of stress with solutions not arguments or pushing the blame at each other.

For example: If grandparents and your children are giving you problems constantly, try to work out by talking with them or simply send your children to childcare center. Alternatively, one of you could quit your full-time job ( the one who has higher post and steady income becomes the bread winner), stay at home to become a homemaker, taking care of your children or work part-time ( at home or outside )

Always try to calm things down by negotiating, think of positive solutions and don’t procrastinate.

#2 – Get Organize

Getting organize means getting things done without procrastinating , put things off to later dates.

When the house is in a big mess, schedules are mixed up, broken things are not fixed, problems will become bigger as they generate with time.

When the problems are organized, you will feel more in control with the situation.

Never panic when things go wrong. Calm down, stay firm and confident .

Always keep a small note book where you can jot down what are the tasks you need to follow up.

Write down the household chores, the things that you needed, the errands that you have to accomplish in the week, grocery shopping list and children schoolwork / projects .

Sort them into different categories.

A- Urgent, must be done immediately

B- Can wait until tomorrow or the next day

C- Can wait until next week or when you are free.

#3 – Get help

When you are unable to stay sane because of your hectic schedules, unable to get away from your job for a short while, try to get someone’s to help you out temporary until you can find a permanent helper.

    • Great tips for parents, Peachy dear! It is so easy to feel overwhelmed with our parenting duties and the other obligations we have in life. Moms and Dads need all the help we can get :)

    • I do agree that parenting is a tough job. It is always a priceless act to take charge of the welfare of the family. I hope the parents can reach this blog of yours and be shared to the social network. I had seen it in both of my parents and I will do the same thing if finally had my own family in the future.

    • It's true that parenting has it's ups and downs. It can be very challenging at times and that's why parents are always reminded to be same and try to avoid getting mad all the time because that never helps a family. I do agree with your sentiments we need to take care of ourselves, by eating well exercising because these are very vital in our everyday life. Sometimes people can get frustrated because of th3 kids or the many demands of th3 family and that can be very stressing. But from what I have gathered over the years it's good to keep life simple all a issues whenever they crop up and always go a an ear to your partner that way misunderstandings will be a thing of the past.
