10 years ago when I became a stay-at home
mom after my son was born, I was alike a
robot, performing the same old tasks daily without
fail.
I had to quit my job , in order to take care of my son
because my mother-in-law preferred to
take care of her daughter’s kids instead.
Of course, I was thrilled to be with my baby son 24
hours a day but soon I became depressed.
I felt :
and my hubby
young
( working full-time), non-related topics to talk about.
Every tasks that I perform daily were repeated
routine alike a factory job.
Wash laundry, fold dry laundry, cook for the family
3 times a day, 365 days in a year, take care of my kids
rain or shine, watch TV with my kids- educational
programs and many more.
Finally one day, my ex-classmate who was a full-
time homemaker suggested that I should change my
daily routine with things that I have interest to
enhance my mood.
Honestly, it did. I felt better, not a useless or dummy
person anymore.
Plant kitchen scrap vegetables such as carrot tops,
Pak Choy stems, Spinach roots, ground nuts in little
flower pots and turn them into your mini garden
patch. I had a wonderful time harvesting my
vegetables and cooked some delicious recipes and
earned praises from my neighbors.
Most people thought that you had to plant from store
bought vegetable seeds which is not true at all.
You can recycle cooking oil containers or old baby
bath tub into FREE flower pots for your vegetables
planting.
With torn Tshirts, pants, shorts and underwears,
you can learn basic hemmings to patch up your family
members clothes.
Refrain from throwing them out.
Patch the holes with cute fabrics or contrast fabrics
to match them.
I had made fabric pencil case and pouches for my
kids to save money.
I also turned old clothes into new clothes.
For example, an old night gown into a T-shirt,
an old pants into a Bermuda short, left-over
fabrics into cushion covers and quilts.
I first learned how to cross-stitch when my
niece taught me the first stitch 25 years ago.
Cross-stitching takes a lot of patience
and time to produce beautiful results with you can
turn your sewing art into cushions, pencil case, photo
portrait, T-shirt or tote bags
However, you need to invest money on the colorful
threads which you can buy them online or handcraft
shops.
I learned to cook from scratch too.
Found some local, Western recipes published in local
newspaper and magazines with pictures.
Cut them out and pasted in my scrapbook which I had
referred to it for years.
Now, I have 5 scrapbook recipes, saved money on
the store bought recipe books.
I love to post my recipes on several writing online
sites, earn money with my self created recipes and
upload real step-by-step pictures which I
taken with my smartphone.
Do you want to save money on your grocery shopping
bill?
Look out for FREE coupons in local newspaper,
magazine and fliers dropped in your mailbox.
Cut them out so that you can use these coupons
when you pay at the cashier.
I managed to save $2 to $10 per trip with these
coupons.
You can also redeem FREE shopping vouchers online
when you work for Survey or Review sites.
In addition, when you shop online at Lazada, Zalora
or 11 Street, you could grab discount vouchers at
designated time of the day.
With these vouchers, you could save up to 50% off
on certain items.
Be diligent, save money with your bills.
Look out for some interesting things to do to pass
your boring days and maybe you could save money
like I did!
Enjoy!

Yes, if moms stay at home they may be save from all out side problems as walking, noise, tiredness, physical fatigue....I wanted to stay home. I dreamed of having a baby and staying home, blissfully nursing and cuddling all day. I read all of the published studies expounding upon the benefits for children who have a parent at home.
Staying home was a commitment I had made to caring for my child and managing our home so that my husband could sleep at night and go to work each day unburdened by the nitty-gritty household stuff.
When you are alone with your children all day, you have a chance to perseverate and worry about things that you otherwise would not. I worried about BPA. I worried about diaper rash, eczema, fevers and choking. I worried about his developmental milestones and his immunizations,
But some time staying at home became far more stressful than working. The self-imposed pressure to be everything to everybody left me completely disconnected from myself. I was unable to shake the feeling that I was inadequate as a parent and wife.
