This cute little heart pouch is easy to sew for novice craft makers.
You can either use a sewing machine or sew it by hand with needle and thread, stitching the edges that looks like dashes ( – – – ) as picture shown.
I had reused my kid’s old baby pajama jumper for the basic pouch, a red short for the heart shape and an old yarn for the handle.
Old pillows with worn out cotton or sponges from shoulder pads make a useful filling for the heart shape
Cut out a rectangular shape for a mini pouch, an approximate size your your smartphone would just suffice.
Sew along the edges with hemming stitches.
As for the heart shape, turn the red fabric inside out first, sew along the edges but leave a small gap for filling up the cotton or sponge.
Makes a perfect gift for little girls and teenagers where they could use this cute handmade pouch for keeping girly stuff; such as hair accessories, coins, smartphone, wallet, ID or makeup kits.

During Valentine’s Day, this mini paper heart shape craft makes a perfect handmade gift for girls and ladies of your dream.
Some say a thousand hearts signify ever lasting love
It makes a beautiful colorful or glittering little hearts stored in a little jar or bottle.
Cut these papers into 1 inch wide, maybe round 5-6 inch in length.
Start from the end of one side, fold into a triangle, keep folding until reaching the other end.
You can either seal up with glue or fold in to keep it attached.
This will take time to keep folding many mini paper hearts.
You might ask for help from your friends or siblings.
SO, which handmade gift do you prefer?

This could be a wonderful way for the girl child to grow up. This opens up a lot of ideas on how to do stuff and get things going. Girls need to be initiated to such behaviour earlier in life to be able to appreciate the little things in life. We all know that women are very good at being natural or using stuff around them and recreate new things. This are some good ways of starting up something
Women and this their creativity thing. Personally, I think I prefer a home made gift for a birthday present. This might just be because I like being creative most times.
So just like Anita Gimase said, this could be a great way to train the girl child and helping them grow.
I love creativity and I don't fail to appreciate it whenever I see one.
hi @peachpurple, thanks for sharing, your hand made gifts really impressed me.
I love to make some little thingy as well, I have sewn a little coin bag for my girl to school. I cut the shape out and she help in sewing. It would be more easier if use the fleece, which can be found at Daiso.
Unfortunately, she has misplaced her little coin bag somewhere and unable to find it. To ease my job, I suggested her to get a little baby sock as a replacement. She loved this idea too.
I remember that I got a cutie pink used soak , I meant a clean one as my hand phone pouch as well few years ago. I love to recycle my things in hands instead of getting those I.T accessories outside.
Lastly, just curious that does the cute jar is a chicken essence jar? If yes, we have so many these little jars at home which can be modified into small containers, converted into small plant pot, water colour containers for kids, etc.
