Psalm 103:13 Like as a father pities his children, so the LORD pities them that fear him.

Recently we began teaching Lilly our daughter by rewarding her
by giving her $1.00 when she did as we asked and taking it back when she failed to do as we asked.
She then could accumulate her money and buy some toys or whatever she wanted.
Tonight she did not accomplish what we asked so I told her she had to give me back $1.00. She went into her little Minnie Mouse purse and got the dollar and handed it to me.
By then there were tears in my eyes and of course I let her keep it. I then proceeded to give her two more dollars.
God showed me that He often gives us blessings when we least expect it much less deserve it.
Not just a lesson from Lilly but a lesson from my Father.
