When I was in my elementary years, I had written three short stories, a fiction item. I based the theme from the actual happenings in and around our country. I submitted them to our local magazine publication and they were published. The magazine had sent me a postal money order as a payment of my short stories published in a separate issue of the magazine.

I was a grade 5 elementary pupils then. I had no background on how to write it. I just read the magazine with short stories page and I patterned my plot on how it was written. By the way, it was published in our local dialect, the Ilonggo. What about you?
