zasa wrote a new post, How to avoid plagiarism while writing 7 years, 6 months ago

Plagiarism is the new buzz word in 21st century, which came as a byproduct of growing ubiquity of internet. Information age brought a new dawn in the world where transfer of knowledge has become a cakewalk. But […]

    • A common belief about ethical writing is what is wrote by an author, whether it came in the form a manuscript of a magazine, science journal, research paper for an assignment, or a proposal of a grant submitted to an an agency, there is represented a near to implicit contract that is between an author of a publishing and their readers. Accordingly, it is for a reader to assume that the original author is in fact that style of author, also any material, data, and ideas possibly borrowed is identified mostly by established scholar conventions, including footnotes, text that is block-indented, and quotation marks. Usually a reader assumes of a information conveyed about is accurate in the representing and of the authors best abilities. Writing that is ethical is clear, with accuracy, honest, and fair and conveys to those that read, and is found to have commitment of ethical practice in different aspects.

In the classroom, one would be reminded by teachers that mostly it is against University rules to plagiarize and constitutes a sort of academic dishonesty. Even if a professor doesn’t explain it, the Student Handbook is to remind all students in courses at universities to abide within an Honor Statement. If plagiarism occurs it is when words or ideas of someone else are written as one’s own. It is when ideas about an event in history from a blog of a professor is taken and a person does not provide credit of those ideas in their history paper. Things such as providing a citation and references for information that could be paraphrased, giving credit to any concepts, a fact or idea that could be found in different sources is advised to keep from accusations of plagiarism. Any instance of inappropriate paraphrasing often is perhaps one of the most common forms of plagiarism and being controversial. The happening occurs when a criteria for constituting of proper paraphrasing is different between some individuals. If the publishing of another is summarized, one has to use their own words to condense while conveying contributions of others that is in a shorter version. There are many times scholar writing and scientific writing involve paraphrasing and summaries of other writing varieties.

As it is true that plagiarism is mostly conceptualized as a theft, the idea of a person to self-plagiarize perhaps would not seem much meaning. After all, it may not be possible for one to steal from oneself. Although, it is mentioned that it could be possible to happen as when a person engages with an embezzlement or fraud of insurance. However, if the term was applied to researches and scholarship, self-plagiarism would refer to authors that reuse previously disseminated original content and state it as as a ”newer” design without letting informing audiences that material may have appeared previously. As the sort described, self-plagiarism may mislead a reader about the substance of any material. There are some common examples regarding self- plagiarism along with guidelines to avoid possible circumstances. There are many journals of biomedical that have certain policies that clarify their opposition of multiple submissions on one same paper. Some journals request that submitted manuscripts of authors for publication to also have included submitted papers that were published previously or ones currently under a review that have a related topic of a manuscript to be considerably regarded. The requirement was implemented in order to guide editors in determining about whether an extent of an overlap between those papers warrants any publication of another the same design of paper. If, it were the opinion of the editor that the extent overlapping were substantial, that paper would more certainly be unpublished. There are some teachers that might allow the sam turned in papers that were used in separate classes providing that they were took as ways to do more editing and refining.
Given a context of a paper’s description published of two different papers being unfamiliar, an author then decides about including them in their own reviewing of literature by the paraphrasing of the relevant areas of a papers introduction as published including summaries of contributions of different style papers. An author then includes the papers as reference material in their manuscript’s reference area, along with what would be found with of a journal article from where the information was sourced. Finally, although an author cites a published article with at least a different context, they don’t indicate that the article had been as a source of information by the other papers, which was not completely read. The described form of citation practice can cause risk by the possibility of other aspects of papers cited do not mostly provide support of the offending thesis of an author. Therefore, there could be some lapses in sensible regards. An author can choose to point well-known discoveries or theories and provide a reader with original citation. If that were to take place without misleading a reader into a belief that an author read a paper detailing a discovery while is thoroughly acquainted with the contents, then it would contain more quality in total and be more considerable.

zasa wrote a new post, What is Donald Trump’s education policy? 7 years, 6 months ago

The US elections 2016 have taken the entire world by surprise. While all the pre election polls hinted towards a Hillary Clinton victory, Donald Trump surprised one and all by becoming the President – elect of the […]

    • Trump doesn’t have an educational policy. He has some thoughts … some ideas … but he’s clueless. That’s why he put a lady in charge who he thinks has a plan. If what she does actually works out … he’ll be more than happy to take the credit for the success of her actions and decisions.

    • How did this Man become President of the United States. Honestly I don’t think He will do anything for Education. Education is more of a Democratic Platform. Republicans are to busy with Big Business. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump and Pence aren’t sitting in the Oval office trying to figure out how to bring segregation back to the schools. The Trump White House is bringing this country backwards.

      • Here’s the thing. The doubts I have about Mr. Trump … Oh! Sorry. … POTUS Trump … are suspicions he raised because of words he said. Suspicions that I might not have had, if he had not put the thoughts in my head.

For example. He was elected POTUS. I simply accepted that the democratic voting process has followed its course and his election was the end result. I was OK until HE mentioned that the voting process was “possibly flawed”. Those weren’t his exact words, but that was his meaning. He said this or brought up the subject AFTER he was elected!

So now I’m thinking: ‘What the crap? Could it be possible?’

So my response to your initial comment/question: “How did this Man become President of the United States.” Uuummm … I don’t know. (???)
