Bitter Gourd is one the vegetables that I don’t like when I was a child. I don’t like the bitter taste. But as I grow up, I learned to love the aesthetic taste of it.
And bitter gourd is beneficial because it is rich in nutrients needed by our body.
There have been a number of studies that showed bitter gourd as a means of getting relief from respiratory conditions like asthma, bronchitis, and hay fever (rhinitis).
It’s anti-histamine, suppressant, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, and antiviral properties make it an ideal booster for respiratory health.
It is recommended to eat some bitter gourd before going to bed, so the soothing effects occur while you’re sleeping!

That’s a colorful festival you have in South India. Does it mean anyone can decorate their bulls like that and have it for display in a plaza perhaps where there will be lots of people who will be watching?
Can the people donate money too and other foods? WHere will they be placing their donations in kind? And the donation in money will be given directly to the owner of the bull?
