It has been advised by the Doctors that sometimes combination of two things could be bad for our health. While taking milk, one should not consume citrus fruit with milk, except Phyllanthus emblica, also known as emblic, emblic myrobalan, myrobalan, Indian gooseberry. Also, honey and clarified butter should not be consumed together.

Yes, both has to go through same set of tests. Not only for Thalassaemia but also other diseases and blood group compatibility. Especially in India, marriage is fixed by caste, gotra etc; they should give priority for blood test.

Yes I think that is a good option. Both should undergo blood test. Especially women considering modernization has made it possible for women to go through multiple partners. yes, it is true size of the family has the direct influence on our growth. For example a middle class family having five to six members would face many issues right from studies to marriage.
