Mahesh replied to the topic What is the minimum word limit for a post? in the forum Group logo of About LiteracyBaseAbout LiteracyBase 7 years, 8 months ago

I suggest writing 100 words each in paragraph. You need to get atelast 3 paragraph like that. You don’t have to write a lot. But writing more word count helps. 300 words gives you 15 cent. 500 words gives you 22 cents. So write more and you’d find that you have earned some decent money so far. That should answer your query.

    • Making a recipe blog is easy enough. Do you plan to monetize your blog? PeachPurple does many of her recipes right here at Literacy Base. So you can do a stand alone blog or you can publish your recipes right here. It’s up to you. All the best whatever you decide. 🙂

      • I am planning on creating a blog and trying to monetize it through google adsense. This would be another source of income if i have some kind of success.

Mahesh wrote a new post, Most Dangerous Animals We Don’t Know 7 years, 8 months ago

There are many small things about the planet that we don’t know. And the more we try to know the less we know about it. Some animals are dangerous and it is harder to ignore them. In the wild it can be seen that […]

    • It must be scary to be around these animals most specially the Black Mamba.
I am so scared of snakes that even pictures of it, i wouldn’t want to see. On Tv , i also don’t like seeing them. That’s because i will haveanightmare of them, even just seeing them on TV or pictures.
So, if ever I see a snake passing by , i will run away as fast as I can.

    • It is agreeable that there are many dangerous and deadly animals in this world. Thank you for sharing this, at least it gives us reminders to be always careful in dealing with animals, especially the unknown ones.

Aside from your list, I also add Ascaris roundworm.

The Ascaris roundworm leads to an infection called ascariasis that kills an estimated 4,500 people a year, according to a 2013 study.

The WHO (world health organization) notes that the infection takes place in people’s small intestine, and it’s a disease that affects more children than adults.

    • the cone snail look very dangerous to me because as innocent as it looks, it will attract children to go and play with it without knowing how poisonous they are. the only problem is there were no pictures of all the animals to help us identify them easily in our country.

I personally think what works best for you do it. Because writing 700 words and earning 22 cents. And instead you can write two articles and 44 cents each. And that can be one way for you to make more money. So think of that. Apart from word count also look what makes you comfortable long term. I’d say the long post can be good for some topics.…[Read more]

    • Most folks say if you’re not happy at your job, then go get another job. Simple huh? NOT! Finding a new job is not so easy. However, if that is the solution and you can do it, then do it!

In your case, sounds like getting another job is not the answer. So you have to just deal with it! Right?

Well what you’re dealing with is not too hard to deal with. You have to develop “selective hearing”. It means you train your mind to hear the things you need to hear to get your job done and all that other stuff gets blocked out!

I’m not saying don’t have some compassion and consideration for the lady. Depression is very real and very serious. Just remember. Your boss’ wife is the person who is depressed and not you! Don’t let her make you sick too!!

You have to support yourself and whoever it is you’re working for … husband, kids, etc. When you get up to go to work each day, you go there to work That’s your goal. Nothing else! Stay focused.

    • Maybe you need ear plugs so you can’t hear her venting at small things? (joke!) She really needs the help of a psychologist/psychiatrist.

It is her who should stay out of the office to prevent “terrorizing” her co-workers by her bouts of depression.
