Had a quick visit from a friend, chatted with hubby before he left for work, and am now sitting down to a little snack of Lupin cherries and raw carrot. An odd combination, perhaps!

Feeling very discouraged! I left the turkey cooker on very low heat, and I had plenty of water for the broth. I got busy with other things and when I went back to check on it, the water had evaporated despite a really good seal on the lid. All my food scraps are singed and the broth is spoiled. Now I will have to buy broth for tonight’s supper 🙁
