Blogging is harder than I thought. I run a photo blog but don’t monetize because it’s on Tumblr and I can’t. I prefer writing on sites like this one. Also, it’s hard to decide what to blog about because everyone is blogging these days and it’s hard to stand out!

I have never tried any of the apps that run in the background on your phone mostly because I don’t want my battery dying quickly. I just installed Foap for selling photos but other than that I stick to mylot, niume and literacybase.

Hopefully new ones will appear soon.

I don’t have any specific rituals but I find that having a coffee or a tea helps me focus and write. I have a hard time writing and I struggle with writer’s block. I have a lot of academic writing to do and that makes very tired of writing. Writing on sites like this one I find fun so it’s a little bit easier usually.

Does anoyone know any writing sites besides myLot that actually pay? It seems almost all sites are scams now. I still use niume and it’s okay but I did notice the ‘views’ are not the real views. I wish they were more transparent about it. I want to find sites that are genuine.

I agree that we shouldn’t judge people on the first interaction but I also believe in my intuition. If I have a good or bad feeling about someone it is usually accurate and turns out to be like that later on. Sometimes I will meet someone and then immediately feel like I cannot trust that person, or I feel an instant connection with them. It’s good to let people show you their true colors but sometimes you can tell a lot from a first interaction.
