Literacybase has existed for Two Years Three Hundred and Nineteen days.  That means that the Three year anniversary will be reached in Forty Six Days; that is, to my calendar July Sixteen.

Well, am just here checking for some updates! And than you, I will mark that date, let us keep updated on what happens next (using our other sites!)

Definately. Clearly this site was created with a ‘life span’ and the owners, reaching some point of greed, decided to grab the money and run.

The site is poorly managed. Let us just wait and see.It should be better if they pay me first before the site’s closure. I am terribly sad of the site’s downfall. I will miss Literacy base.

According to Scamadvisor; LB has been ‘alive’ for Two Years, Three Hundred and Nineteen Days.   I suspect that within  Forty Six Days this site will disappear; completing its Three Year ‘rental’ on the Net.

What I found exceptionally strange was that when I first joined, the slow moderation had me posting elsewhere.  I complained, suddenly, no moderation.  That isn’t normal.

What is normal is to ‘stream’ the writers into those who should be passed because their work is of a high standard, those who should have Plag. checkers run each post.

I feel so sad.  I liked it here, I liked talking with you and a few others, and now, it is like we aren’t even worth a good bye.

Niume actually emailed us it’s ‘we ain’t paying no more’  advisory.  I wandered over to wretched hubpages, posted something, then over to blogjob which is making no mention of coming back on as a paying site.

kaylar wrote a new post, When You Don’t Know What To Watch… Go Vintage 8 years ago

The programs I miss are Baywatch , Hawaii Five O, McGiver and some other more, that I forgot the titles of the shows. And those were American TV shows.

But for Filipino shows, I love Home ALong Da Riles, Palibhasa Lalake and a lot more titles I also forgot.

So, all of these I can watch at Vintage?

Television show producers/directors, etc. should be creative enough to get more viewership or retain patrons; and one way is by employing cross-overs which you mentioned because those famous artists have loyal followers/fans and they will switch channels wherever they are.

And it widens the plots. It brings in new ideas and the show becomes a bit of a hybrid, interesting and breaking the mold.

Nowadays here, shows are done in such a way, that it would be for the weekdays from Mondays to Fridays, then some for only on weekends.

And on weekends, mostly would be, shows good for children or for the family since the parents would be home because there’s no work.

This pattern is good since the management knows what to really capture on these particular days.

When the shows take a break, i.e. from May to September and some break from January to July, viewers will watch something else. On line, people forget to go back.

Long breaks do not make sense for people will wonder why.Maybe they are doing some manipulations.

      • Profile picture of kaylar
kaylar replied 7 years, 11 months ago

It is a ‘season’. The season runs for nine months in Vintage time, about five months now. And theres a break. Often the show is re run during the break, now new shows are introduced and often if they don’t catch the viewer not only does that show croak but so does the show it was replacing.
