Sorry to interrupt the discussion but GOOD and BAD are quite relative. I doesn’t matter how you define good / bad. What matters is – how GOD defines it.

I remember a story (it will make everything clear) – a man met GOD and asked – I have never thought bad about anyone. And my neighbour is a corrupt man. Yet, I see him richer and myself so poor that I cannot even afford a show. There are multiple thorns punched in my feet right now. Why are you so partial?

GOD humbly replied – You know what was fate? Your neighbour was supposed to be the Mayor of the place and rule many. Due to his bad actions recently, I made him only a rich man  and that’s it. However, your case is different. You were supposed to be crucified but looking at your good deeds, I reduced the effect and made some thorns pierce through your feet. I know you did not like my verdict but I had to balance your deadly fate with positivity of your goodness. Slowly and gradually I shall reverse this bad time for you, just travel on the same spiritual path which you are on right now.

Hope the story made everything clear. If it did not, read one more.

An atheist once reached a temple and saw the GOD’s statue there. He said – you are fortunate. You are just standing here, still the world bows before you. I work for the day and night still get loathed. Why this imbalance.

GOD laughed at the innocence. GOD appreciates innocence. He instructed a heavely voice: Tomorrow morning 00:00 hours, you shall be at my position fr 24 hours and  I shall be away from here making you the master. Are you ready?

The atheist nodded.

GOD said – then there is a condition: Keep your mouth shut. I shall meet you tomorrow at 23:59 hours to discuss what you did.

The atheist was excited. After all, he will be GOD next day.

Next day, the atheist went inside the statue as an automatic arrangement. He saw a businessman coming there for some business idea. He said – my vehicle of material is punctured. Please help me out.

The atheist saw that he mistakenly dropped his wallet. A begger came there and offered a coin to GOD. He saw that wallet and took it as GOD’s grace and sat down there.

Some time passed and a sailer came there hoping for a safe journey. Suddenly, the business came back and accused sailor  of stealing his wallet. The police was about to arrest the sailor BUT…

The atheist (who could not tolerate the injustice) immediately spoke out: He isn’t the thief. That begger is thief. Let him go.

The statement was atheist was same as GOD’s own witness, who will go against? The begger was arrested and sailor set free to go.

That night, atheist met GOD and narrated everything. GOD replied – You created a problem. I clearly told you to keep your mouth shut. Everything was preplanned. That business man was actually a smuggler and demanding my help in his fraud business. That begger was a honest hardworking man. The coin which he offered was his hard earned money for the day. If he gets the businessman’s money, he will put it at right way. I do not see anything wrong in he taking the wallet. The sailor was supposed to die today. The only way to avoid this is: avoiding his journey from happening. So, I planned to have him arrested. (That sailor is dead now) Everything was as per plan till you violated the condition and failed to keep your mouth shut. Now, can you provide a solution to the problem which you created?

My Conclusion: We do see bad things happening against good people because we do not know what GOD preplanned for them.

It is surprising that rates went down again.

Actually, in past (about 5 weeks back) – some of us were discussing on rate increase. Now, the other way round – OOPS!

Genuinely speaking, I am not witnessing any change (no offense here). It is same 0.15$ – my all time high

But I guess they reduced the system may be to sustain (just like why blogjob reduced daily limit from 150 to 100 for new users and later terminated rewards system). While I personally believe that websites must start small and go big rather than starting big and then going down.

Interestingly, we are still to await response from @support and @admin on the subject matter. Anyways, unless they respond, we can only make wild guesses which won’t actually help anyone.

Yes, it is good that such scoundrels are taken care of. However, I dont think Literacybase will do the mistake Bubblews did. Bubblews was a fail case allowing users to post anything with little OR no quality content and showcased unbelievably high payment stats. For any skeptic, it is clear that its model supported spammers more than general public.

There was a similar website “Associated Content” which was similar to bubblews. It was acquired by Yahoo later BUT suddenly shutdown forever (however, they informed all users / members in quite legal manner).

It is easy to make a simple website which can have anything but in the long run, search engines punish such websites. It is required for such websites to take care of spamming, tackle quality and have friendly experiences in order to keep themselves running.

@peachpurple – This new user needs to understand plagiarism laws. It seems that he is just copy – pasting stuff. The admins need to tackle plagiarism / spam cases.

This site is under growing stage but such people will prove fatal in the end.

Sorry to note that we have plagiarists everywhere.

I am still unable to understand why are people focused on copying someone else’s text and producing as their own. While this site has moderation for posts, it need to have plagiarism detection tools too. Copying someone else works seem to be the probably the easiest of all tasks BUT unfortunately, this is not always the case. Let’s wait for @support to catch such scoundrels.

It is human tendency to assume it as a part of life if you cannot manage it.

I strongly disagree that we cannot avoid holding grudges against anyone. It mainly depends on values which we are born and brought up into OR the society and environment we are into.

Unlike animals, human brain is different. We do not think in one direction unless we are forced into it. 1 animal hates another and this continues till ages. You probably cannot imagine a snake behaving friendly with a mongoose OR an Eagle for that matter (OR vice versa). They keep on fighting with each other.  It is virtually impossible to have a tiger peacefully co – exist with its prey. This is how animals are made. They fight and kill because they are made like that.

Same rule however, does not work on humans. We have advanced from that stage. I will quote a story from the Buddhist Dhammapada. A man had 2 wives (second marriage happened because first wife wasn’t fertile enough). The second wife gave birth to a baby. The first wife took that boy and killed him (out of jealousy). 2 wives started hating each other. This continued in this birth and the next (Buddhism like various Dharmic cultures believes in cycles of rebirths till salvation). Several births later, one of the wives got birth as a man eater demoness and the other wife a farmer’s wife. Buddha saw the happening and immediately recollected the past experiences (Buddha literally means “the enlightened” in Sanskrit). He summoned them and told them to get rid of this grudge feeling. Dhammapada contained a detailed discourse on how to do that.

Humans do have the opportunity to break this cycle of hate / grudges – animals don’t. I dont know which religion / philosophy you believe in but I am sure that none of them approves this hate / grudge system. Each have its own unique way to get rid of such a dangerous feeling. We need practice and thinking beyond selfishness. Based on my personal experience – I can tell you that this is achievable in the end MAYBE slight difficult in the beginning.

How about hinting posts by authors? Suppose we want to look at a post written by a specific member, we have to follow today a complicated process.

Right now, this website is new but in future, as it grows and more members come, it is almost difficult to check their posts especially those which are written 4 – 5 months back.

You can not wait for keep clicking “Show more” unnecessarily.

Right now, you need to visit user’s profile and visit through activity pane. At the right, click on Show -> Posts. Then browse through all the posts clicking show more everytime (specially when there are 100s of posts written) – doesn’t make sense.

Rather, we can have a link to posts directly in the profile page with a search button enabled which will check all posts and show only those posts which satisfy certain condition.

It often happens that certain newbie joins and comes with a doubt. Someone replies – User xxyyzz already written a post answering your queries. Now, this newbie has to follow the process mentioned above which is time consuming.

However, I could not find any link to learn astrology from there. You have only mentioned some general articles. How about having a special link to teach Vedic Astrology reading Do It Yourself?

These are general question which stuck my mind when I saw your website. I also plan to have a website dedicated to Vedic Spirituality (not now but in future) and working on it.

@lovern – Expertscolumn pays. It isn’t Beer Money Nation for it cannot be short lived. They are more than 5 year old.

@swalia – It pays you for unique visitor. Earlier it was very less but now, it seems that they have improved. You need to submit article for review and they take 24 – 48 hours for review. Min. 400+ words but they recommend 700+ words. You can check status in pending articles section.

It is the only website I know where you get decent traffic even with no marketing. However, they are strict about link posting rules.

Let me tell you my case.

No. of blogs = 2

Total published articles = 16

Social media (and  other) marketing = NIL

Yet, Total unique visitors = 813

Some pause and then submitted.

It showed as if embedding happened.

I think that the link should neither form the beginning nor the end and the link should be shown differently than the normal text.

I am not a technician to discuss exactly what happened but this might be a wordpress feature (This is a wordpress website after all).

Yes, that “edit” word is not so clear and might be hidden for others. Still, @admin and @support must let the users know of changes (if any).

I know I am not authorized to reply here but websites like this have only a major revenue model – they make money through ads. As we all know, ads are very strict. If you use Google Adsence OR Yahoo Media.Net OR Microsoft Bing Webmaster OR any other for that matter, it should be noted that not all websites are approved.

If you are running your own personal website – you can take care of these things easily as you are the only administrator there. However, you don’t know what a member writes here and how your search engine penalizes you for that mistake which you did not do in first place. Prevention is always better than cure I guess. So, most of the admins opt for editing of  posts. You need to edit OR remove invalid posts. Either you do it pro – actively before publishing like this website OR you do it post submission (if it violates T&C) like blogjob.

I understand copyright implications and transparency is important here. Yes, @support should make a point editing their policy and making it clear that the policy is updated and admin reserves the right to edit the post. While the 5th paragraph on their T&C does mention their right to edit OR remove whatever they feel removed; this is written in quite generalized manner and not all members know of such a rule.

Still I feel that @admin must make clear what exactly is their content policy. This helps user writing the content in a proper manner.

Additionally, if some part is edited, they must inform us what was edited and why (may be email OR a private message).

Personally, I dont felt anything edited in my posts except addition of extra images. I too support this project but I feel it is lacking transparency.
