@Ruby3881 Happy to see the prodigal daughter back. Do stay and help this site flourish. You can do that.

@swalia Those spammers hit a lot of sites. it’s nobody’s fault. It was just another brick in the wall that day, so to speak.
@bestwriter Yes, we all had issues because there was a huge influx of traffic that was more than the server was intended to handle in the early days. I’m happy the owner chose to migrate to a dedicated server. Any future…[Read more]

@bestwriter I find it interesting to hear various people’s guesses at what was going on when a certain comment was written. Sometimes they can be pretty close but often when we make assumptions, we can be way off!
In this instance, for example, I think the comment was written right after I started writing on TextBroker. The other places I was…[Read more]

@peachpurple We all have priorities in our real life and you are doing the right thing. See you soon.

@Treathyl Fox Sharing quotes is a very good idea in updates. I will do that in future. Thanks for the lead.
@Anand. It is confusing. I am sorry

@Treathyl Fox Unique content preferably long posts and sharing – with this we have landed. 🙂 Sharing blogs of others does the same.
@peachpurple I am the author of the comment that you and Grace find so deplorable. It is honest feedback that was solicited by a question about our experiences on LiteracyBase. It was not meant to hurt feelings, but to give the admin here fair warning that there are some issues that need attention.
I know that when I am in a position where I am…[Read more]

I don’t know about others, but I find it really difficult to participate here lately. For about a month or so, I’ve had repeated issues with pages not loading properly, with server errors and downtime, etc. It makes it really unpleasant to even visit the site. And now there’s the video that is set to autoplay….
Anyway, I’m trying to catch up…[Read more]
Kyla Matton Osborne (Ruby3881) replied to the topic How to stop video autoplay? in the forum About LiteracyBase 8 years, 3 months ago
I actually think the video has a very limited interest to most people. It would be good to have on a FAQ page where there are explanations about earning on LB. For recruitment purposes or to stimulate activity, they really ought to work on a shorter video with a human voice. It should be catchier, with a lighter tone, and not be so concerned with…[Read more]

@sunil You are not the first to mention that on MyLot there are certain people who seem to have appointed themselves moderators. I know there are a couple of veterans who are well respected, and who have occasionally gotten into heated discussions with other users. I haven’t seen much beyond that but I found that after my first month there, most…[Read more]

@Ruby3881 I am not aware of MyLot anymore as I have no discussion on that site anymore neither I have visited that site for 6-7 months. In fact certain sites are just too much for me that turn me off especially the ones with often changing rules. I prefer staying away from them until they get settled or show result.

I think they may have started with shorter blogs in mind, @swalia. I guess they discovered that shorter doesn’t pay….
@sunil Hasten the process of what, Suny? If you mean of moving to microblogging, I think some people might be happy for that. The MyLot format seems to be quite popular. It could work on other sites, if they can get the…[Read more]

You know @Lee Ka my weird sense of humor has put me in serious trouble at times and you are another one hooked in the net. I am thankful to @support though that he knew what I meant. Here I share a secret with you at this point that my sense of humor was the main reason that all fun loving people attacked my discussions at MyLot instantly and…[Read more]
@Shavkat I am shocked, I always thought the site owners and @support were as confused as I was despite knowing you for years. Remember suny in mylot? I always treated you like one from the opposite … you know what I mean 🙂 Sorry mate but you have kept the men’s flag fly high. Keep it up…
@Support haha I caught you for sure. Anyways thanks a lot for letting us know that it was auto generated but I am sure @Shavkat will not take your comment lightly. Just wait and watch by the time they read your comment 🙂 I am sure you are in for lots of trouble because I always thought she was a lady.
