@bestwriter. That’s true.Parents in 70s and 80s in our part of the world encouraged their children to go abroad for education and jobs. @grace I feel you have kept yourself mentally active and physically busy with gardening, online writing and pets etc. , which is a great thing. You don’t seem to be emotionally dependent on others
Many older people have no activity beyond their children and once children are married, they become rather bitter and lonely.

Weird things happening to my comments.

This is rather strange but a British study has suggested that if you consider yourself “fat”, you will find it harder to lose weight and will have an increased BMI.
Depression and stress about your own image can only make you feel worse and make it harder for you to lose weight.

A big trouble with some seniors is that they are stuck in their own time and like to start every conversation with “In our times, this did not happen.”

@ruby3881 Chicken indeed is a very versatile dish.
@peachpurple We eat a lot of chicken in my house. Chicken is used in steaks, boneless chicken handi, chicken ginger, chicken shashlik and chicken in white sauce but the most favourite is chicken karahi.
