All the phenomena mentioned above have their destructive streak. There are many active volcanoes in different parts of the world the nearest one to us being in the Andaman and Nicobar islands. There are also many active volcanoes in Japan, Italy, South America, Africa and even in Ireland here the volcano erupted from the ice and was so shown on television. When we think of Tsunami the most recent ones which did the most damage are the ones in Japan and they rebuilt the country back to normal very fast the second one is in our own India. This started from Indonesia from under the ocean as a earthquake occured. The waves reached countries in Bay of Bengal, Indian ocean and also went till Oman in the Arabian Sea region. This caused wide spread destruction.
Lightnings, floods and landslides are a common happening in many parts of the world and in India too. Floods and Occur annually and deforestation is also resulting in large scale landslides especially in the mountain regions in North India. Hectares of lands are flooded during monsoons and cause widespread damage to crops and loss to farmers. Deaths due to lightnings are normal in rural areas people are ignorant or fail to appreciate and follow safety measures which have to be put in place. Even in cities like Mumbai deaths due to landslides take place every monsoon. Hope these inputs are useful.

That was great piece of astronomy and facts about the moons of these planets.
And I think NASA did send a mission to some of the moons of Jupiter or Saturn. Was it to Titan? -
Thanks for sharing this information. You are right, many of us do not know much if anything about the other inhabitants of the solar system and universe at large.

Interesting scientific information about one of the most important planets in our solar system. Saturn as per astrology plays a major role in the happenings of events in the lives of people and the planet. Astrology apart the information provided in the article above provides information on how to view the Saturn, possibility of chances of life on Saturn. It is interesting to note how the rings have been formed around the Saturn and the reason behind it. The gravity of the planed in one more information which is a new discovery for me.
Yes many of the asteroid’s have tried to collide with Saturn but they could not reach their target and got stuck in the place where gravity is more forming the asteroid belt. The rings I have read are of different colors and are different gases which give the shape and color to the ring. It is the sixth planet from the sun and the second largest in the solar system after Jupiter. As per Roman mythology Saturn is the God of agriculture. It has a diameter of 1,20,536 kms equatorial. Its orbital period is 29 years. The distance from the sun is 1.429 billion kilometers. Some of its famous moons are Titan, Rhea, Tethys and Dione to name a few.

You have added quite a few interesting facts to the above article. I knew that Saturn is the second largest of the known planets. It is good to know that it is consider the God of agriculture in Roman mythology. I wonder why? I guess because of the water that the article mentioned.
