“To Err, is human” We make mistakes since we are human. I know that I make my fair share of mistakes and maybe more than my fair share. It is just something that we will keep doing no matter how much we try not to. Great post!!

It should be already a lesson to you for you have been doing something wrong not only once, twice but more than that. Negligence is easy to solve if you are aware of what you are doing is wrong. There is a saying that says, “Once is enough”. You are right. It shouldn’t be blamed for old age.
In your problem, the best and appropriate solution is to copy-paste your email ID, rather than typing it direct to the info box. With this for sure, you won’t be mistaken. You won’t be encoding the wrong email ID. It is the correct email address you have sent them.

@Rapid Blue I thought the same but the one in my stomach sounds a beep when I pass through a scanner

It’s a metallic clip as confirmed by my doctor so there is no doubts whatsoever about that.

That sounds like it must have been very scary to have happen at the airport! I agree with what Shavkat said – that sounds like it shouldn’t have been left in you. I had the same surgery some years ago and nothing was left inside me.
