@scheng1, it is not true with my son-in-law. His honesty doesn’t require a reward or anything for him to be recognized. That is why, this is the initiative I have made to acknowledge his honesty. I want to let the world know that honesty is still alive and is practised by the people. Personally, we have already tapped his tendency to return that…[Read more]

Friends are friends. They become your friends for several reasons and you do the same. Friends may be collected through a first meeting or a social gathering. They may be found in the social media like the Facebook or here on this site. On what occasion, they are found that reflects too the intention of having them as a part of your circle of…[Read more]

We are living in the world full of filthiness, full of various kinds and types of sins. But humanity is still hopeful that there is one who is honest among us in any manner.  This has prompted me to create this group, “Honesty Still Works” for I have come across with the people whose means of livelihood is low in profile, but they can still…[Read more]

@lovern, your concern to stop K to 12 because of some shortages in the classrooms,  and the teacher’s general concern which they’re not or they couldn’t discharge their duties as teachers effectively. For your information, K to 12 has already started since 2012, and to be specific, it is almost 4 years in the making.

    Curriculum concern has…[Read more]

In my time, when I was studying in elementary sometime in 1960, we had a local dialect taught to us and we had a book for that language. Because of that mother-tongue published textbook, I was able to read. Reading the Hiligaynon or Ilonggo translated book had developed my confidence and the desire to read more books, not only in the said dialect…[Read more]

    • I do respect your decision for that. You are entitled to whatever you have in mind as far as this person is concerned. Every one of us, whether we live in the Philippines or not have the personal disposition on how we regard an individual.

President Duterte personally lacks the proper decorum to respect the women as what he did to a kidnapped foreign woman who had been raped by the rebels. His comment was considered as a gesture of ill-educated person. Women, in general, did condemn such unethical remark of a government official.

His followers whom I believe have been blinded of his true-self idolize him, believing that through his courage and a very vocal public official is the answer for the change which the public has been aiming long before. Now, they put him to the highest elected position in the government as shown on May 9 national election.

Let;s wait and see how he carry the Philippine government into his hands.

    • You’re absolutely correct. Matters would become worse if they are handled or managed in the strictness sense of the word. His character doesn’t warrant it. He is notoriously known for his bad behavior disposition. He is too arrogant on the way I observe him when he talks. I know he has the guts, the courage, and the compassion to do what he had promised during the election campaign period.

But everything is different since he has officially taken his oath office yesterday. His good composure on the way he carried himself during that memorable occasion beguiled his real self. The people especially those who voted him were too enthusiastic to see his accomplishment especially of getting rid of criminalities and any form of graft and corruption within the period of 6 months.

Is he a superman? Does he have the magical spell to do that? Believe it or not, his fanatic followers, supporters are highly expecting that from him that he could make it. Again, let’s wait and see if he could achieve it.

    • I do absolute agree with you. Faith is the greatest element on what we believe in. It makes us strong. It makes determined on what to. It is the lifeblood of all the things what we are doing. As what the Bible says, it is something that we cannot see, but it is true. It gives us the assurance that it really does exist. Like the air, we cannot see it, but we could feel that it does exist.

God is a Supreme Being that we cannot see Him, but He does exist. We couldn’t see Him personally or touch Him, but we could appreciate His existence through His creation that surrounds us and through our own being who He does create. Our faith in Him is the ever guiding light that shines through the darkness of our mistakes or sins and finally leads us to correct and forsake them for righteousness sake.

It is our faith that makes us whole. Let’s keep that unwavering faith in God. So be it.

    • First let.me congratulate you for being such a dedicated man if God. Not soany.men would take up that calling you be a undertaken over the years. But when God calls you be gives you all the ability, strength and the armour to do God’s work. I am very pleased. And thebthouhht of you having baptised your own wife into church is amazing. You have also gone ahead and ordained your so You are blessed man for sure. It’s a good thing that your wife is behind you in all of this and th3 kids are also supportive. I wish you all the best in the years to come.

      • I do really appreciate your kind comment on my role as a father of my own family on how I do care for them, on how I set as a good example for them. I am hoping that is how your family should be too. I wish the best everything for them. Your active role in your family would make everyone happy and involve to make things done towards achieving happiness and eternal contentment so to speak. Family is so important and God wants us to rear them up according to His nurture and admonition. If we are obedient to His commandments, we will be receiving the promised He has made in the ancient times, that is, to have eternal life if we could endure to the end and remain faithful to Him.

    • When God blesses us it is not just for one day or one moment; it is continuous. Only we can stop the flow of God’s blessings. We should aim to please God. We should trust in him. Faith in him brings joy and secures our place with him for the future. Each day we should look forward to life in the new Jerusalem even as we reap his blessings now.

    • I do respect your religious belief, your spiritual outlook.
