There are many hot and current topics for this year. The US election is definitely a hot and current topic. I think the searches for Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton top the chart for many weeks. The coming Olympics game is another hot and current topic!

A new personal blog does not get search engine traffic for a couple of months. This is known as the sandbox period! I think if you want to make a success of a personal blog, you have to clearly define where your income comes from. Hard to make money from both Adsense and affiliate marketing. |

@morgoodie A fictitious cruise is always nicer than an actual one! Even for those cruisers who have been 100+ cruise, the next cruise is always the best because they have yet to board the ship. I am thinking of which cruise to take – Alaska? Norway? New Zealand? Caribbean? Every cruise sounds interesting! |

It takes more hard work than anything. I have tried before, and the hard work does not yield as much result as writing for writing sites. For one thing, a writing site has many writers, and they will read, and give you support. When you have a blog, you are on your own. |

@kaka135 If you are not having a baby, I am sure you will write a very good post on it. There are so many pictures online, and the cruise itinerary contains a lot of information. Hope you will be back home soon with a healthy and active baby. |

Not really sure about my own thought process. When I face a problem, such as clearing the choked kitchen pipe, ants problem, money problem, computer problem, i will search online for solutions, and then I will think about writing it. It will serve as a memory aid, though I do not always write about the things I have learnt. I figure if I need to go online to search for solutions, so would a million others. |

@kaka135 It is a fun project! The title is an “seo” title, and is an evergreen title. I think for this kind of title, we will not run out of writing ideas. We will always have fresh ideas for spending a million bucks. |

@ruby3881 I do not keep in touch with many writers there. Vincent Summers was in AC, and now I see him in Mylot. I think he was with Bubblews for a while too. My dear old friend, Jane Vee (Mommaj), was my long-time friend from old Mylot, AC and now I still see her in the new Mylot. I saw Crystal Ray in Bubblews for a while too. She was the top contributor in AC in term of page views. I really admire her for writing all the How-to articles. |

Writing blog posts is easier when we are offline. Once we start to read, and comment, we will lose the motivation to write. I think when we want to write blog posts, we should write first, then login to chat. |
