Very useful inputs regarding the first subject mentioned in India it is a banned substance. I do not know whether medical council of India has allowed the sale of the same for medical purposes. I have not heard of it in news papers or other places till date. They fear that it could be sold across the counter or be misused.
Regarding the…[Read more]

Thank you Peeush for your review on The White Tiger.
Yes, you can say English as your native language as you had your education in English medium schools. I did my schooling in Bengali medium till class 12 from a village.
By the the name of the book from Arundhati Roy is God of Small Things. If I recollect properly. Please confirm the same. I…[Read more]

I concur with what you say and agree all of us are prone to some or the other form of depression. Which creeps silently without our knowledge. As we are too busy to find time to take care of our health. The problem is our style is also unhealthy and sleep is compromised for the sake of money. This does no good to us and our…[Read more]

True agree with what you say. Since yesterday I have posted three posts the last one about Indian music I just blogged it a few minutes ago. It takes around 1 hour for me to prepare a blog of more than 1200 words. I think a mix of different options it the right approach. One should not get fatigued by doing something. In my opinion infact…[Read more]
However if we consider the fact that we have been taught English in schools right since our Kindergarten, we can also think of English as our native language 🙂
Then I can count works like
The White Tiger by Arvind Adiga,
The God of Little Things by Arundhati Roy as works which I like best.
And for those who like instant, entertaining f…[Read more]
Frankly speaking, while my school time Hindi was good, and I did use to read a lot of Hindi magazines like Sarita, Saptahik Hindustan etc, the only worthwhile Hindi books of literature I recall were by my aunt and uncle who were into Hindi teaching in colleges. One was ‘Sita Ka Kanyadaan’ about current issues affecting common people in India.
Looks like a well written book.

WHERE CAN WE LOCATE WISDOM?
1.But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
2.Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.
3.The depth said, it is not in me: and the sea said, it is not with me.
4.Destruction and death say, we have heard the fame thereof with our ears. Job 28; 12…[Read more]

I managed to write 3 posts for 1 week last week and before. But it was kind of draining for my body and brain. And I think that’s one reason I just have to slow down on 1 post a day and more on the comment and the post. So it may be taking a lot of my time for now. I may have to try other ways to get engaging. For better I guess commenting is the…[Read more]

The articles should not be published on some other site, face book or anywhere else. It should only be there on literacybase website. If you have it somewhere else too it should be deleted there and then submitted here. I do not have any blog of my own as of now as even I am learning too.
@acelawrites
As far as I know choose images which are free in google avoid images of any book or magazine or website which you may find there and check if we have to pay too as for some I am not sure but think something of that sort is there. According to me if we are giving credit to the person or company whose image it is I think it should not…[Read more]
