@kaka135 It looks like there is a good flow again now!

@scheng1 There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of a FAQ or such documents on the UK site, whereas there are a great ,any docs on the US site. I’ll have to look around again… Some sites impose extra fees at cash out, though I think it’s in poor taste to do so. HireWriters started charging a fee for Copyscape, about two weeks after I started working there. As I recall, it was a flat fee of something like $5 per cash-out. Since many people had their accounts set for automatic cash-out each week if there was $20 or more on account, and since there was no warning at all when they started to add this charge, a lot of us got caught with a huge fee 🙁 |

@morgoodie Once you get past the meltdowns, everything changes. Hang in there! |

@morgoodie I’m just using the free version of Buffer, and even with just the two accounts on it I find it quite indispensable! I love that it allows me to have a finer control of images for FB shares, and it picks up the images for Twitter shares 😀
@lovern I really can’t say why the posts are backed up. You would have to direct your question to @support. I agree though: it is frustrating. |

@morgoodie There are a ton of video tuts for GIMP. If you’re ever stuck, just Google what you want to do. I find it’s a little tricky to get just the right tutorial, but it’s so easy to do things once you see someone else doing it! |

@4cryingoutloud I finally had a minute to read and comment. Great job! I love that you took a more esoteric approach to the challenge 🙂 I shared it widely! |

@morgoodie I wish I had taken more risks when I was a newer writer, and that I had worked harder to learn things like SEO and social media marketing. It’s good to stretch a little bit, and to always keep reaching for just a little more 🙂 |

@morgoodie Being a special needs parent is real roller coaster ride, isn’t it? Sometimes we are so proud of our kids, and what they accomplish seems so huge when put into the right perspective. But for each moment of happiness or pride, there are many moments of struggle! You should absolutely get your son’s IQ and achievement levels tested so he can be assessed for the right learning level. It’s so important that every student be challenged just enough…. |

@morgoodie We all have a long list of things we want to get around to, I suspect! I think it’s important to give ourselves permission to just learn a little at a time, though. We don’t need full mastery of each skill before we explore the next item on the list. @kaka135 Would you believe it was coding that led me to play with graphic design? I had been taking courses in HTML and CSS at the old WebtechU, and I even began to teach the courses myself after a while. When I was doing courses on things like using tables to create beautiful web layouts with layered graphics, I realized it would be fun to learn how to make those graphics too. Webtech offered some courses in basic skills for PSP, so I took them. Then I started looking for tutorials, and I began to make all kinds of cool graphics. I was hooked! |

It’s a good idea to share content from a number of different sites. I haven’t had much time to read and share over this week, so my Buffer keeps emptying and I’m not getting enough content put up on my Twitter feed or FB author page. I’ll spend part of the weekend filling it up again. I like to do that, because then I get content from a bunch of different sites all mixed in together. |

@morgoodie Actually, our babies were the same size! 8 lb 13 oz comes out at just about 4 kg. My daughter was also long, so she didn’t seem big at all. |

@morgoodie I think you could do well there, providing you find assignments that fit your interests and knowledge base. If you can’t find anything that suits you at first, just fill in your profile and wait. I completed three assignments for the same client this week, but today I didn’t see anything that appealed to me. I am also going to be away for quite a bit tomorrow. So I decided not to accept any new assignments for the moment. This gives me time to work on my blog, submit some posts here, and maybe add to my TextBroker profile. I won’t set any goals for this weekend, as far as client writing is concerned. But for next week I’d like to get at least another 3-5 assignments done. |

@markyg I think they didn’t approve anything yesterday. If I’m remembering well, the last batch to be published was overnight (for me, in UTC -7) on the night of June 1st to June 2nd. You could probably see the exact date and time in your history, but it will be for a different time zone as the servers are further east from me 🙂 |

@supoport I’ve just been looking at some groups for which I received invitations. When I load the group page, I am told there is nothing to see. This is despite numerous attempts to refresh and to select “Everything” – or even to select for such things as “Membership Updates” in a group that has a dozen or more members. Nothing shows in some groups, even after multiple attempts. Other groups, I was finally able to view a group description or a forum post. But only after repeatedly clicking, reloading, and trying a number of different filters and tabs. I think this is an issue that should be looked into. If users can’t see content in the groups, it’s a potential loss of ad revenue. |
