    This is a true story I never tire of.

    It was 1973,  and I was hanging out baby diapers. Suddenly, this old woman bounded up the hill. She had a cigarette dangling from her lips.  She pulled my laundry off the l […]

    • People are not focusing on the dangers of bad diet, obesity. If they pushed as hard, half as hard, as they did in ‘anti-smoking’ it would be a good thing.

    • I think , when one is industrious , doing a lot of houseworks that can be considered exercise, sheor he will get obese. It is the lack of activities along with eating too much of everything that makes one obese.
      Obesity is what really makes one have a lot of sicknesses, like diabetes , hypertension to name a few. Once obese, the person even have rhe difficulty to move anymore because they pant when they do succeeding household works. Thus, they get more obese and sicker.
      Thus, everyone is enjoined to eat in moderation and see to it that they exercise or do activities that can jiggle any fat that maybe forming in one’s body.

    • Correction on my comment , for the first sentence it should be ” she or he will NOT get obese. Thank you.

    • It’s incredible that it lasted only 3 seasons because my memory of it, seems like it lasted much longer. Probably because I really really liked the show. In my mind I probably wanted it to last longer. 🙂

      • I feel the same. To think there were only three seasons… but then… considering 79 epis and today 28 is more standard, that’s why it seems longer.

    Do they automatically redeem our applicable payments? Or do we have to do the redemption ourselves?

    I am a newbie here so I still haven’t experienced being paid here. I was just here last mid-January. Hopefully, this February I can already reach the minimum payout.

    If for example you will have 6 eggplants, you will need at least 4 beaten eggs, so it will be so tasty.

    • I wonder why other countries don’t like selling their fish with the head. Is it true that because they don’t want to see the eyes of the fish, as if it is crying?

      I swear the head of a big fish is delicious especially the cheek part, where the flesh is so soft and yummy.

      The broth of a big fish head can be so tasty when it’s cooked in a soup with lots of tomatoes and onions and some veggies.

      Even the head of a fish cooked in a sweet and sour fish becomes even more so yummy , because of the sauce.

      Maybe you guys should try and see for yourself how delicious the head of a fish is.

    • Fish is a high-protein, low-fat food that provides a range of health benefits. White-fleshed fish, in particular, is lower in fat than any other source of animal protein, and oily fish are high in omega-3 fatty acids, or the “good” fats. Since the human body can’t make significant amounts of these essential nutrients, fish are an important part of the diet. Also, fish are low in the “bad” fats commonly found in red meat, called omega-6 fatty acids.

      WHY ARE OMEGA-3S GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH?
      A growing body of evidence indicates that omega-3 fatty acids provide a number of health benefits. They:

      help maintain cardiovascular health by playing a role in the regulation of blood clotting and vessel constriction;
      are important for prenatal and postnatal neurological development;
      may reduce tissue inflammation and alleviate the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis;
      may play a beneficial role in cardiac arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat), reducing depression and halting mental decline in older people.
      The omega-3s found in fish (EPA and DHA) appear to provide the greatest health benefits. Fish that are high in omega-3s, low in environmental contaminants and eco-friendly include:

      wild salmon from Alaska (fresh, frozen and canned),
      Arctic char,
      Atlantic mackerel,
      sardines,
      sablefish,
      anchovies
      farmed rainbow trout and
      albacore tuna from the U.S. and Canada.

    I love eggplants. We can cook them into delicious dishes.

    One that I love most is the eggplant omelet, wherein I steam the eggplant. When it’s already cooked and soft to the touch, I would cool them. Once cool, I remove their skin, then I flatten the eggplant with a fork. After which I dip it in a beaten egg with some bits of salt. After…[Read more]
