Division of labour is the fastest way of doing things but the problem with it is that those you assign part of your duties to are not able to accomplish the task the way you will have done or wish for hence you doing everything yourself. With techology all of that is changing as you can now pay all your bills online so the moverment is less.
-
I usually do the errands on the same time and that’s how I try to save some time.
-
This is where online transactions comes handy – bills payment.
At our office, we have an employee whose job is to go to banks for the deposits of the different affiliates. Since she also go to the bank where I pay my credit card, I send them through her, because she’s accorded good service since our company is one of the valued clients.
And every Christmas I have a gift for her, for being so gracious in paying my credit card.
-
So true, we can do some many things online now and included to reduce the numbers of going out and stuck in the traffic jam.
Agree with @Raphael, that we can do more things now in one shot with the current technology level we embraced with. We can paying bill online, blogging at LiteracyBase while having our cloths washing in the washing machine, having our tea cooking in the kitchen and have the vacuum robot to cleaning the floor. Thanks to the innovation and technology!I love @dina’s way which ask someone to help her to pay for the credit card bill too. We can ask for help around if the one is good and kind enough to give us a hand. Off course, we have to know how to return with kindness too. Thus, Dina has a Christmas gift for her every year, this one of the way.
And, we can bake some cakes, cookies and food for the neighbour whom help us for pay our bills too or run some errands for us, and help in saving our time. -
O&M is what management calls it. If one has an organised method lots can be achieved in little time.

This is really a pity to see a housewife in that position. Is it not controlling her from doing what she really wants to be? She has been reduced to financially dependent in the society. Doesn’t she have some wishes and desires? How a husband treat his wife like that? Totally shame on him.
Of course, there are some sites that may provide some pocket money. But, they are not reliable.
First, the lady/housewife should have financial freedom and she must be in a position to earn something for her own expenses. If her husband can not fulfill her wants and desires what is the minimum thing he can give her? Totally absurd. -
A pity that this housewife is struggling. Those tips are very useful. Now in this time and age, the woman has got to be smart and be self-reliant. If something were to happen to the main breadwinner, she has to step up to the plate. There is a website called the penny hoarder that lists plenty of opportunities to earn some side money as well as some full time positions. It is an informative website that can give anybody ideas to how to make some extra income. Hope this helps.
-
Yes, I agree. The stay at home wife should do these things so she also can have money of her own to buy whatever she likes to buy.
Having those hobbies turned to business is what I always see on televisions. Some are so artistic, that they make those accessories which they sell online.
A former officemate of mine, resigned because her business of second hand clothes, bags and shoes, became so prolific because she established a niche for Them through her online website where she would take pictures of them and post it in Facebook. Friends and friends of friend , relatives and a lot more would order that she eventually resigned to also have a stall in their house while she also sells them online.
One should really be determined to prosper.
-
Yes, you are right, @sivasubrahmanyam, that’s really pity that the housewife lose her financial independency after decided to stay at home and take care of the children and the family. In fact, the wife or stay at home one should get paid too, say a quarter of his/her partner’s monthly income as a appreciation of her/his contribution to the family.
Can we image, how much we need to pay for sending the children to the baby sitter? And how much it need for hiring a domestic assistant? The housewife does all this stuffs and get no paid. It is seems a bit not fair to her.
@caleb, thanks for sharing the website. Hope this help for those needed, do the opportunities have any geographical factor restriction?
@michelle, USD20 is too little, right? Agree with you, the housewife need some leaves or “me “ time as the working lady too, and deserve for some pay or something nice or some gifts or a treat. So, my husband treated me and himself too on V day, haha!:P -
Thanks for sharing your ideas. I think even when a mother needs to stay at home she should find something she is passionate about and find a way to make some money out of it. Like you said art and crafts come in handly even selling them at a low price it will get you someone to refer you to others and get a little client base on you things.
If you like to write them find a way to make yourself a blog and use google adsense to earn some money.
There are alot of ways to get a little cash. You just need to be a bit creative.

That is a great news if ever this study can be really pursued and proven to be true. At least, measuring food quality, monitoring the environment, analyzing breath (health), detecting pests (agriculture), monitoring volcanoes, and making wines.
It will make detection easier, thus making our places a safer place to live in.
I hope soon, this study could be finalized soon so gadgets or machines with regards to the detection of the above will now be easier and faster.

I never get scared entering a teacher’s room in my student days. That’s because I see to it that I have done my homework and studied well of the subjects I will be attending.
Students gets scared going into a class, when they didn’t memorize what the teached told them to memorize or study when there will be a scheduled quiz. And yes, they are super scared when the teacher gives a surprise test. ha ha ha

One problem arising out of the use of organic clothing involves in their maintenance. They need regular and prompt washing and proper ironing. Otherwise, they look very shabby. Even silk also can be worn at the most for a day or two but not more than that.
But, the non-organic clothing needs less attention as far as their maintenance is concerned.
The organing clothing like linen, silk, cotton, Handloom etc., no doubt richly contribute to the environmental protection. They also protect the body from excess heat and excess cold. -
ABSOLUTELY YO HAVE THE POINT THERE SIR. I ALSO ADD THAT WHEN IT COMES TO PRACTICALITY, THE NON-ORGANIC CLOTHING IS MORE CHEAPER AND AFFORDABLE COMPARED TO THE ORGANIC CLOTHINGS.
HOWEVER, IF ONE DOESN’T HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH FINANCIAL, IT IS BETTER THAN GOOD TO GO WITH ORGANIC CLOTHES. -
Regardless of whether one is concerned or not about this planet and its environment, there are countless benefits to wearing organic clothing. It’s likely the majority of individuals who wear organic clothing, aren’t even aware of it. The one’s who do wear sustainable clothing, are aware, and are consciously making the effort to better the planet with their actions. Hopefully by the end of this article you’ll be inspired to consciously choose your outfit material, and want to rework your entire wardrobe with organic clothing.
Throughout history, companies continually discover innovative ways of making clothing out of new materials and fabrics. With Eco-Fashion coming into mainstream, designers have become more original and are coming out with superb ideas and cool designs made out of organic clothing. The apparel industry has been showcasing a plethora of fashionable garments that the wearer is excited to try.
-
When it comes too organic clothing, the most popular materials include cotton, hemp, soy, bamboo, silk, and wool. As you might already know, cotton is the much-preferred fabric throughout the world, and is versatile in the manufacturing of different types of clothes. However, conventional cotton farming is hazardous, as it needs nearly 10% of the world’s pesticide supply and about 25% of insecticide reserves. That being said, cotton farmers must now adhere to strict guidelines prohibiting pesticides and chemical fertilizers. With this process, organic cotton offers one of the most soft, breathable and luxurious clothing to the wearer’s skin, especially for infants.
Hemp, another material used in the manufacture of quality organic garments, requires no herbicides for its cultivation as it has natural resistance to pests, fungus and insects. A pound of hemp fiber uses a fraction of the water needed to grow a pound of cotton, which is naturally resistant to most pests and diseases. When compared to cotton, hemp can offer 8 times the tensile strength and 4 times the durability.

In India, everything was organic in the beginning. But, the technology based Agriculture introduced in India, has totally spoiled not only the health of the people but also their minds. ICAR has to be blamed for continuously giving a wide publicity to the artificial and chemical fertilizers, pesticides blown methods etc., which has virtually spoiled the Agriculture in India. Added to this the denial of minimum support price to the farmers was always there in his grievances. It was never attended to with sincerity by any Governments.
Even now, the Governments are not realizing the importance of the organic nature of products. They are openly delivering the Diary milk and other products though knowing pretty well it is all made of an artificial milk powder. Still, they are following mixing of powder milk liberally to the regular quantity, which in no way will improve the health of the public. It is adding only to the quantity but not the quality of the milk. They are showing this in their budget estimates as the development made by spending crores of rupees annually. Shouldn’t we laugh at these policy makers?-
THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR INSIGHTS REGARDING THIS MATTER. YES BECAUSE OF FAST UPGRADING OF TECHNOLOGIES USED IN FARMING, ORGANIC GARDENING IS REALLY AFFECTED. FARMERS ARE ONLY CONCERNED WITH HOW MUCH THEY PRODUCED AND NOT HOW HEALTHY THEIR PRODUCTS ARE. THAT IS THE SAME AS WITH THE GOVERNMENT, THEY ONLY THINK OF THE INCOME THAT THEY MIGHT GET.

A great wealth of information. Our food in the States tends to have too much chemicals. Organic is the way to go. It is healthy and yes, it helps avoid sicknesses. Sometimes, people complain that organic food is expensive but my response to that is that there is no price for health. Sometimes, it pays to protect your health, avoid sicknesses and a mountain of medical bills. A small investment indeed.

In Africa our people were using crop rotation system of farming in the olden days before the introduction of fertilizers. in those days our people know how to manage their farm and get bamper harvest and healthy foods stocks. Since the introduction of Fertilizer and other chemicalized form of farming, the farms are no more producing as it was in the olden days.
i don’t believe in organic farming as it is another way of exploiting our farmers for the benefit of a few as fertilizers did. Now we are been told Fertilizers are not good for the environment, did they not know this when they introduce fertilizers into our farming systems. because they have now gotten the profit they want from fertilizers, they are now introducing organic method and are saying fertilizers are not good. all chemicalize foods are not good if not natural. -
I AGREE WITH YOU SIR CALEB, THE MORE HEALTHIER WE ARE, THE LESS MEDICAL BILLS WE HAVE.
IF WE MAINTAIN A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE, WE CAN AVOID BACK AND THROUGH TO THE HOSPITAL.
AS YOU SAID, IT IS FAR BETTER TO PAY EXPENSIVE ORGANIC FOODS BECAUSE ITS FOR THE BENEFIT OF OUR BODY. -
I hope we can also have organic farms here in our place. Although in Tagaytay they have lots of organic farms.
And yesterday at Salamat Dok, Sonia’s farm in Tagaytay demonstrated how to make a salad made of edible flowers like a variety of edible rose and the hyacinth or gumamela.
I was amazed that we have edible rose petals in Tagaytay. I wonder how they taste as a salad. I love vegetable salad.
-
There are organic farms here in Benguet, actually. Benguet State University is implementing organic farming and hopefully, they will maintain it.
However, nonorganic farming is very common. Farmers here in our place usually use pesticides and chemicals that are not organic.
Although the vegetable products have good qualities that are good for exports but are not safe for our health unless one will wash it properly before cooking.
One for us to remove the chemicals or pesticides from the vegetables is to soak it with lukewarm water with salt.
According to the Centre for Science and The Environment, washing vegetables and even fruits with 2% of salt water will remove most of the contact pesticide residues normally found on the
surface of fruits and vegetables.
