That was really saddening! Some sites have so long Terms of Service, and in very small fonts, too much legalese words or sentences that one ma find it so tiring to read or will consume a lot of time. Your post will serve as a warning for us, writers, to be very cautious about it. (reminds me I have to read the TOU’s of Literacybase!)
I found that site but did not join. It’s good I didn’t sign up!

I almost always read and reread the TOS. If I didn’t before that day, I did after. Could you imagine writing a story so good it’s on TV and you don’t even get a mention?

You’re watching from the outside. I’m observing from the inside and I’m happy to say I’m kind of glad Trump is POTUS. If Americans ever wanted to know if democracy is a form of government that can really work regardless of the people diversity, we’re going to find out!
All that stuff they taught US in school? Those tests in school were just to see if we learned.
The Trump presidency is the “real test” to see if we actually understand democratic principles and know how to make practical application to a real country!! Our country!!
I’m loving this Trump administration. Watch the Americans rise! Yeah! 🙂
To respond to Jon Stewart’s question” “What kind of country are we going to be … moving forward …?” We’ll see. 🙂 😀
(NOTE: Really appreciate your LB posts. They’re inspiring. I’m not making sport of you. I’m very serious. You provoke my patriotic fervor and my sense of duty and you remind me to be proud to be an American.)
I understand you completely. You fully believe that the people, that the institutions in place, that the laws will protect you.
I am telling you that Jamaicans have been rounded up and deported; many who have valid Visas. That Many Africans have been deported for the same reason. No one protests, no one knows. In some places they are stopping cars driven by Blacks to check papers.
What is scary is that 200 people have been murdered by police and no one protest.
I know there are people who are fighting for what are called American Values. I know some folks in California who are going for a Calexit.
I have spoken to a chap who is a Jamaican/American and spent many years in the U.S. as well as here who also sees a positive spin; that Trump will inspire people to object to what he puts forward. He sees Trump as a test; and he believes that the backward/racist anti beliefs of Trump will be defeated.
I’m not so positive.
