From my experience, Knowledge Management or KM processes and initiatives are launched in a Big Bang manner, but there is a lack of proper planning and the Program remains warped in statistics and planning only, but implementation is often untracked or inconsistent.
People lose interest as they are “forced” to do training “X” or “Y”, and they can’t relate to what they are being asked to do.
Social Media like Twitter, Facebook can help, but tools similar to these social media, if implemented internally(Intranet) can be very useful.
I have seen people across geographies also getting benefit by being in touch with each other and utilizing knowledge.

@bestwriter I hope all this is not deliberate. However, I think the rules should be clear and the Admin should share any positive and negative happenings around us, rather than doing things to avoid something, or not being transparent.

@sunil Job situations change a lot within us. We have to mingle with people of different types.
For an introvert like me, things could be tougher but then we have to cope with the change.

@evilelf that is an interesting username, yes if the subject interests us, word limit is easily crossed. Even I try to write on topics of my interest, except one case, where I found that my post length was 20/30 words short, and I had to make some extra effort to cross 300 words.
Now, some of my posts even cross 500 words.

Perhaps such drinks need to be taken in moderation only else they can cause problems.
