Considered one of the best television series of all times, Breaking Bad is, in some respects, an uncomfortable viewing.  It is very well acted, very well written, but the plot is rather unsavoury, and the […]

    I’ve already dealt with moderation.

In fact, I might have dealt it too hard a blow because we have gone from intense to none; and that has caused a bit of decline as various people publish very low quality items, […]

    • I absolutely agree. Having that enticement to be on the front page, motivates each one to write better so their article will be on the front page.

I used to be on the front page on the famous defunct site. The more that I am there, the more that I am motivated to write substantially and something that many can relate so they can give their insights on the topic therein.

Hopefully, admin will have this implemented too in the near future.

      • It is time to change the front page. There is nothing there to catch the eye. They can shrink what is there now, move it down, and put the best items on the front page to catch the eye. This would attract more readers, and members.

There are a number of motion pictures which pass into the culture and become ‘must sees’.   One of them is Seven Samurai.   This is a 1954 Japanese historical drama.   The  Seven Samurai is set in the year 158 […]

    • Truthfully it would really be nice if if it just a review on the movie. But it is an international movie or an anime related movie? Reading your post makes me already know the story though. Please input “contains spoilers”. 🙂

    • I didn’t give you the whole story. Just gave you the beginning as to how there came to be Seven Samurai … no spoilers

I admit, I was the first person on line complaining about slow moderation.   It annoyed so much to write an item, post it and then wait.  And Wait. AND WAIT.

    • Oh..these are people who are psychologically weak. They need the company but of people who they like whether or not they like her. If others do not like them they interfere, they break the conversations between the people opening a new topic which will be sometimes totally irrelevant. By interfering in the middle of the conversation when two people are speaking with other they do break the conversation successfully but can never achieve anything important either for them or for others.

    • I always tend to stay away from everything like this. I simply prefer to walk away because I don’t have any interest in playing with dirt.

So, can you suggest what other search engines can we try?

I don’t refer to Wikipedia. Yes, I have used it before but it’s rarely that I use it.

The advent of lies began on day one with the […]

    • You may find this hard to believe but I haven’t actually been diligently following the Trump Trail of Tears (or Tares or Taunts or Trials & Tribulations or … ). I did see some brew ha ha about him paying his respects to African-Americans in celebration of Black History Month.

But let’s get to your very first statement. Lies? Lies, did you say?

This is just my observation. It looks like Trump lives in an “alternative universe”. In that world no doubt he thinks whatever he says is true true true!

I’m sorry. Do I sound like I’m being disrespectful? I’m not. Really I’m not.

I have great respect for the office of the US presidency. I view any remarks that I make regarding America’s current heated political environment as not only a show of the utmost respect for the most important servant of our country, but also as an act of a patriot and the duty of a humble servant and citizen.

I ain’t just whistling Dixie. I mean every word I say!!

    • I don’t respect him. He is a liar, a narcissist and I did enjoy him expressing his ignorance of Fredrick Douglass.
As a Narcissist he believes the truth is what he says it is.

    • God oh my, that is the normal way how all react, they maybe blinded in the street while crossing roads or while eating, while working also, whether normal worker or manager all are on their mobiles, in the coffee shop i see couples came but each is setting seeing only their mobilles and drinking coffee i observed them to see for how long they will stay like this, they kept like that until they left the cafe without chating together only for few minutes when the came and at the end spoked to her wife to tell her shall we go. and that is it, why they didnt set at home doing that? so annoying so careless and so poor they dont know that life is passig and they have no idea where are they going to or doing in it except phones

      • Exactly! Imagine this. I was waiting for someone at a hotel. I had arrived early, so had a bit of a wait. I was sitting in the lobby, looking around, seeing everything, smelling everything, 100% there. Every one else was on their cell, talking or texting.

A celebrity came by. I got up, walked over, spoke to the celebrity, walked back, sat down, and then the person I was waiting for arrived. As she did I mentioned the celeb who I’d just spoken to.

A few of the cell slaves looked up when I used the name, and one guy asked me about the Celeb and I told him…

        “She left”.

So here he was, right there, in the lobby and so busy banging on the cell, missed it.
