    kaylar wrote a new post, The Americans; Quite an Interesting Program 8 years ago

    There are many programs which are okay.  There are some which are very good.  One of the best shows is  The Americans which will complete this season next week, and has been renewed for one more, then end.

    kaylar wrote a new post, The Value and Interest of Cross Overs 8 years ago

    When various programs were only viewable on television, there was virtually no ‘cross overs’. A character on one show did not appear on another. Even though there may be a slurry of ‘westerns’ all happeni […]

      Television show producers/directors, etc. should be creative enough to get more viewership or retain patrons; and one way is by employing cross-overs which you mentioned because those famous artists have loyal followers/fans and they will switch channels wherever they are.

        And it widens the plots. It brings in new ideas and the show becomes a bit of a hybrid, interesting and breaking the mold.

    kaylar wrote a new post, The trouble with the long break 8 years ago

    In ancient days, a show came on at Nine p.m. on ABC on Monday night. The season began in September, usually the second or third week. It ran until May. Usually it was about twenty eight episodes in a season.

    This […]

      Nowadays here, shows are done in such a way, that it would be for the weekdays from Mondays to Fridays, then some for only on weekends.

      And on weekends, mostly would be, shows good for children or for the family since the parents would be home because there’s no work.

      This pattern is good since the management knows what to really capture on these particular days.

        When the shows take a break, i.e. from May to September and some break from January to July, viewers will watch something else. On line, people forget to go back.

      Long breaks do not make sense for people will wonder why.Maybe they are doing some manipulations.

        It is a ‘season’. The season runs for nine months in Vintage time, about five months now. And theres a break. Often the show is re run during the break, now new shows are introduced and often if they don’t catch the viewer not only does that show croak but so does the show it was replacing.

    I realise that the inference is that the photos in the ‘library’ are free to use.  Anyone who pauses when it comes to the photo section will see photos and images and assume they are free to use.

    It could be a simple misconception.

    mylot is a site which takes short items as well and one is paid by the comments of others.  If your item doesn’t get comments you don’t get.

    It can be one of a number of situations;

    1.  The Owners can not run a site and have been flopping around for two years, trying their best.

    2. The Owners were trying to sell the site and failed so it’s just moribund until they figure out where they are going.

    That pathetic scammers have flooded the site, posting rubbish, is kind of…[Read more]

    What shocks is the total lack of communication.  There are people writing every day, three four times, for nothing.

    Why we believe it is closing;

    1.  No response from Support regardless of method used to contact.

    a.  Using Contact
    b.  Emailing
    c.  Writing in Forums
    d.  Writing Blogs

    2. No payment for anyone without a single advisory

    These Two factors suggest we are here, on our own, until the ‘rent’ for the site comes due and it slams shut.

      Confusion is the unexpected and unclear outcome of an action or an event. To get rid of it once has to follow a certain form of a decision tree perhaps. That’s it! told you, it was just my two pence lol.
