Awesome, Christi Ann. Let us know how those tricks work for you. I often have dry skin, usually on my arms and legs too, and will find myself scratching like crazy until I realize what the heck I’m doing and do something useful about it. I have a cream that has all three of those ingredients in it and it doesn’t even irritate razor burned skin. It’s called, Queen Helene Cocoa Butter Creme and it doesn’t take much of it at a time to make a big difference.

These suggestions are really great. Basically the idea is to do everything you can to improve your situation and then make yourself as comfortable as possible. If only we did those things on a regular basis, treating ourselves as if we were sick, in order to make ourselves generally healthier, perhaps we would get sick less often? I don’t know, but it’s an interesting idea. |

Oh wow, this is definitely my topic. I do a lot of different hand working projects, such as crocheting, knitting, (that’s a recent one for me) painting, drawing and making jewelry. I tend to need to do stuff with my hands a lot. If I’m watching television or something, I feel like I need to do more, and then I’ll pick up some sort of project to work on while watching. My latest projects use duct-tape, the colorful kind with cool patterns. I want to make a tote bag or lunch bag, although the tape can be really aggravating to work with at times. |

I also think honey with a bit of lemon juice is wonderful for a sore throat or cough. I even used to add vinegar to that mixture to aid in digestion when I had stomach trouble. For a sore throat, I have two remedies, one is gargling with colloidal silver water to kill germs and bacteria in the mouth and throat. It seems to have a numbing effect on the pain and makes the sickness go away faster. The second remedy is baking soda mixed with either lemon or orange juice, as baking soda helps kill fungal infections and viruses. |

I’m a freelance writer, and have been working that particular job since 2006. That seems like a long time ago now, but I have learned a lot over the years about writing for the internet, which is different from other formats. Writing can sometimes involve a lot of stress, but I do enjoy it when the topic is something I can really sink my teeth into. Casual writing is fun, I enjoy blogging as well as posting in forum threads. I’m new here at this site and just learning my way around, so it’s great to meet you, Lee Ka. |
