The one big improvement we need here is to get the video to stop auto-playing! Do you know the pages here on LB are taking up over 8 MB? That’s too much, especially for anyone who has to pay for bandwidth.

No point joining a website with low minimum and the earning is very low.

It is better to focus on a site that pays, and has the potential to let you earn more.  Some in LB can make $20 to $30 a month.

They are better off focusing here than to join a site that has a minimum of just a dollar.

Not for me too, but I would not say that it is a scam.

It has been paying for many years, and there are many people who login in faithfully day after day to earn a few pennies, and they also get a lot of referrals.

GoAskAlice is a good site owner. I believe that in general, he wants users to do their own thing and just to realize that the more they interact, the more they earn. It’s a very unique site, though. I had always figured that “popular” came from something like the number of friends a user has, plus maybe the amount of interactions that involve that person. I’m sure the algorithm factors in other things but it’s possible, with the right combination, for it to appear pretty stagnant.

To be fair, it is quick to earn here, because there is upfront payment.

However, the lack of passive income (eg income for page views on our blogs) means that we have to work hard to write to earn $10 or $20 a month.

The minute we stop writing, and participating, the income stops.
