It is a good law, and should be strictly implemented to safeguard lives of passengers, even of the drivers. If they wanted to answer an emergency call or a text, they should stop at the roadside to attend to it.
While on the road, I can see people doing that, driving while talking on their cellphones, even those who are on motorcycles!
-
I experienced this many times, while riding a passenger utility van or mini-bus there are drivers who actually texting and calling while driving. Some passengers just took a photo and posted them in facebook because there was no other way penalize this kind of drivers.
But now there’s this law penalizing them.

Indeed, when it is summer, the heat is unbearable especially outside of the house.
I always have a folding umbrella and a folding fan in my bag. So, whenever I go outside the house I would use my umbrella.
Even inside the jeepney, whenever it stops to pick up passengers the scorching heat can be felt. The folding umbrella will be used.
I also wear loose blouses and usually sleeveless. I also would have my hair in ponytail. I always take a bath , especially in the evening.
I also see to it that I eat more than 8 glasses. And I like the water to be so cold. The moment the water enters body, you can feel instant refreshment.
These are some of the ways to beat the heat.
I think here in the Philippines, we would really have a shorter summer as was announced before. And indeed, it would rain now, especially in the morning.
The rain helps in cooling the surroundings.
-
Even when it is not summer, I used to drink 8 glasses of water, or more. These days, I avoid getting out in the sun from 10 a.m. to 4 .m., as much as I could. It is really scorching hot; and one needs to wear sunglasses to protect the eyes from UV rays.

Nature lovers like us were so sad of what happened to Environmental Secretary Gina Lopez; she did not pass the approval of the Commission on Appointments, saying she acted so quickly in closing the mines, and other things that they say should pass approval of both Houses of Congress and Senate; that she should ask to pass laws to support her decisions! It’s legalese! We do not know, why the Commission on Appointments apparently did not see her points!

Good job -
Cool post! I’m into world cuisine and sampling global flavors. The thing I notice about recipes from around the world is that many of the key ingredients are universal.
-
My father is ilocano and I have tasted all the dishes you mentioned.
-
I like Ilocano dishes too. Malaga is a very delicious fish, but I don’t know about sapsapuriket! I love their vegetable dishes like pinakbet.
-
I love kilawen, best of all.
My mom is also an Ilocano, she is from La Union.
Her cooking is always my barometer for what good food is. It seems that she has a magic wand that everytime she cooks, the turn out is always heavenly!
-
I want to try this sapsapuriket. I haven’t seen my mom cook this recipe.
Is it okay to ask for the recipe for sapsapuriket? I
