Mahesh wrote a new post, You Can’t Have Plan for Everything 7 years, 8 months ago

I was under impression that in life we have plans for everything. You may find that life does not work like that. Life has always worked on the basis of flow of cash, decisions of others and how it affects you. […]

    • When we plan, there should always be at least two options. That is because in case plan A fails, then you can try plan B.

We have to take into consideration our budget if we plan for example on having a business. We also take into consideration, the licenses that it would entail. Foremost also is how we should manage the said business.

In addition, when we plan a business, we should make a feasibility study if it will have the chance of succeeding in your business plan. Location of the business should also be given importance because if it is not strategically located, there will be less customers who will go to your place of business.

Lastly, in the business plan, you should add on how you can have a hands on in the business. That is because a lot of business go bankrupt because they let a relative take the cashiering. A lot of cases like that happened here in the Philippines.

    • I don’t think it’s healthy to expect all of your plans to work out. I realized some time ago that it’s best for me not to make many plans. I just go with the flow and avoid the disappointment of plans falling through. I planned to do many great things and it hasn’t happened yet but I am happy relying on myself now and not making plans with other people.

    • Smile is contagious, as it is proven by myself. Even if I am not smiling wide, but my lips are pursed into a semi-smile and my eyes looks happy, I always get to see a smile too to the person I meet along the way and even on the jeepney I ride to work each morning.

When I also get smiles, I feel happy because I was able to make them smile, as they too made me happy and positive to face the day.

A smile can make an achy heart smile too. It helps them to at least be happy even for that very moment they smile, even if their heart is achy.

If only all the people will smile when they meet people on the streets, this world will be a happy place to live.

    • Yes…you are right to above mentioned article about religion. Origin of religion is cosier as old as human civilization trying to become as a setelled community. Why it happened to necessity of religion. It is a very deep question relating religion.
Some tells that it was fear which in forms of nature and animals first introduced. Then after to control over community. This feature of religion continued for long periods with worshiping their ancestors also. Both there were several drawbacks of this type of religion. Some people became mighty and some very weak.As always be ,mighty oppresses weaker section. Then all times of history there come a great human being to save weaker section with his thoughts .His ideas and teachings take a form of of religion. Follower of those teachings are considered as different community. Cristianity, Islam,Buddhism are those type of religions started by such great human beings.
They presented an example of simple living and there are billions of followers of above mentioned religions.
In modern computer age as education and technology is growing importance of it is reducing it has still a great impression of society.Society run according to the religious format.Bith ,marriage and death all customs related are associated with it.

    • The blog is nice and good but for the mention of the Carl Marx quote which is totally absurd. Marx himself is a communist and the communist could never lead a happy role in any place on the planet. For Marx this may be Opium. Why the Head of China is worried about Mr. Dalai Lama’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh. The Prime Minister Mr. Li Peng is feeling chill of his backbone with the visit of Mr. Lama.
Religion is not made. It is a combination of a set of principles and guidelines that can satisfy the people of their doubts with regard to birth, death, and afterlife as you said rightly.
This is important for a peaceful living of a set of community in a proposed area without being overlapped by any other faiths of any other groups or religious belief.
What we are calling development, technology, modernization is all the thrown-out remains of the Ancient cultures and Civilizations. They used them all, researched on everything, finally thrown them aside as did not satisfy their needs except creating unrest among various people. The dirt which they have thrown out has become a great technological development for us and we are still playing like kids calling ourselves developed which is not at all a truth. The ancients are far superior in their knowledge than the modern scientists. Their way of dealing with nature was confined to four corners of a Laboratory. They enjoyed nature, they played with it and finally drafted rules which appear now, as scriptures in various religions which unfortunately we do not comprehend and keep them aside as TRASH. We are actually a big trash thrown out of their culture.
Even after the so-called development, we are guided by inhibitions, doubts, unrest, poverty, selfishness, xenophobia, hydrophobia, our own safety, our own society, our own belief (narrowed down to lanes and streets)and even territorial jurisdiction. If we are really developed we should have broken the boundaries laid down by Religions. We are not doing it, and we can not.

If by chance, anybody takes a step to cross the boundaries then he will find ultimately that what he said was already mentioned in the religious scriptures. We talk about love, passion, etc., These are already mentioned in the Bible. We talk about humanism which is already played important roles in the administration of the Ancient Rulers.

To conclude, we achieved a big NIL. When we question ourselves as to the achievements we made with our technology, there is nothing to be proud of. Only some BIKINIS (EVEN these were available IN India and worn by INDIAN SADHUS on the Seashores) We are already bikinied (making one finally naked) by our administrators with false promises on Development and service.

    • An informative post. But I would suggest if one really wants to reduce weight and keep oneself fit then it is simply better one walks at least six kilometers a day if one finishes the distance in 50 minutes and follows the routine continuously and does body toning exercises one will be fit and the blood circulation will improve too and he will enjoy good sleep and be active.

As per yoga and gym one has to go there they do need a teacher or an institute to do the practice as it requires guidance too. It does take some time for one to reduce weight and one has to be regular and meticulous about his or her schedule. Then even they will produce results. It is good to do what one would want to do as one will continue with the same for a long time. Both are good but yoga is preferable or it is still better to simply walk and do some body and muscle toning exercises. Thanks for the share.

      • Thank you very much. We should what we enjoy most…. whatever may be that. Walk or run, yoga or gym, dance or arobix, whatever we want.

Almost everyone is familiar with the saying, “Music is the language of the soul”.

    • I don’t know if music is the language of the soul but I do know I love music.

    • It is so good to know that you love music. What type of music do you like to listen to? Are you listening to music every day? Do you go to concert? Maybe I’m asking too much from you.

I have long love-affair with music that started during my high school days. I use to listen to love song which nowadays they called “ballad”; although from what I know ballad is usually associated with poetry.

Since then my love for music keeps on growing. I like country/folk, jazz, love song, classical, new age, new wave, slow rock and other musical genre. My taste for different kind of music is almost eclectic.

I like so many singer and artist. I have so many tapes and CD collections through the years. Most of my favorite music are the constant source of my inspiration in life.

I love to hear and discover new music—songs that I never heared before. I also like to read books about the lives of great musicians and composers.

I hope that your love and appreciation for music will grow as the year passes by. As I write this reply I’m listening to Antonio Vivaldi’s “The Four Season”.

      Talk to you soon.

Is The Press/Media The “Enemy of The People”?

Recently Mr. Trump in his speech before the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) meeting has made a remark to that effect that the “fake news the e […]

    • I don’t get the idea how come the press or media entities and people are the enemy, in the first place they are the mediator for the people and the government. They are giving news and information constituents to government and vice versa.

It doesn’t mean the when they hurt people or expose the wrong agenda of the state that they are the enemy now. Sometimes this is just misinterpretation.

Though I think, sometimes its the sides or angles that the media and press people they present that they are being hit. But being being biased, for me, is when you attacked one people or entity and don’t the side of that concern person. But even when you attacked but tried to get their comment, that is fair– well, as far as myself is concern.

      • I absolutely agree with your observation and comment. The remarks that “the fake news is the enemy of the people” came from no less than Mr. Donald Trump himself.

He misunderstood the vital role of the press or media. Yes you are right, media may be considered as the “mediator” between the government and the people which it governs. That’s why it is called the “Fourth Estate” or “The Fourth Power” in society. It implies press/media’s role and importance.

In every democratic government and society throughout the world, the value and importance of the press/media is cherished. Without the press or media, there would be no efficient transmission of knowledge and informations; there would be no basis for the variety of views and opinions, not to mention intelligent debates on any social issues of the day.

The media or press can truly make or break anyone when it wanted to. It could also be a force to reckon. Its primary role to my mind is to make every one aware on what’s going on around us.

With awareness comes knowledge. And with knowledge comes intelligent decision to act, to make the voice of the people heared by the government or any power that be.

    • Mr.Trump did not know how a media organization works. He did not know that journalists have a set of Tenets that they follow in the course of their job as news gatherer; news provider. There could be some rotten eggs in the media, but not all of them are bad; there are still crusading ones who value the truth so much, because credibility is very important to them.

    • yes they are the enemy due to the fact that people depend on them in the past to knwo the news but for the bad luck there is not much morals now adays and the media or social media become trade and keys that business world get big bite of it to serve there business and fool some people, that is how it works
