Happy Easter to you!

Hi Jennifer,
Thank you very much to you and may you also have a Blessed Easter Day.

I absolutely agree with the observation that Easter is all about the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The celebration of Easter just like Christmas has become more and more highly commercialize. What does bunny and eggs to do with the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ? The answer is none at all.
Yet so many scrupulous merchants or businessmen are cashing in on the Easter celebration.
Christ is the Center of Easter—His Glorious Resurrection. It is not about bunnies or eggs. I donāt see any connection between bunny and egg together with the Resurrection of Christ.
No bunny or egg is mentioned in the Four Canonical Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. What is interesting is that you cannot even find the word āEasterā in the Holy Scriptures.
The logical conclusion is that bunnies and eggs are associated with āpagan customsā just riding on the Christian commemoration of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The important question to reflect and contemplate is: does Easter makes any difference in your life in terms of spiritual transformation and renewal?
Does the power of the Resurrection increase and makes your Faith in God deeper and stronger?
In other words, does the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ make you a better person?

The work that God wants is that you believe.
The sacraments we receive help us mature in the life of God; they affect the very core of our being.
We know that from God the Father proceed the Son and the Spirit, and from him they receive his very divinity, the three being only one God.

It is probable that only those familiar with dramas of the 1950s, 60s, 70s and early 80s would notice the change from the one/two star to the ensemble.
For example, if the actor playing Dr. Kildare was unwell or unavailable there was a problem. Now the actor playing Dr. Preston can leave the show and no one much notices his absence.

Of course social media has its own benefits, mostly for those of us who like to write and reach more public. On the other side, I know quite a lot of people who spend their time reading about other’s life’s, or watching pictures… What a waste of time. And, from my point of view, that’s not good at all. Others just spend the day saying the are taking breakfast, lunch, dinner, or going to work, or playing with their pets… So, social media is a risk, but, same as for food, exercise, medicines, etc.. it all depends on how we use them. That’s the difference. Good article!
