In our country, the father and the mother have several names depending on the kids rearing up. Since we have several islands, there are also several name calling term for the father and the mother.

In the U.S., they call Pa for Papa, Mum or Mom for Mama. In the different parts of Luzon, the biggest island in the Philippines, Papa is Itay and mama is Inay. In the Visayas, Papa is Tatay and Mama is Nanay.

You may be surprised that other Filipinos may call a Papa as Amang and Mama as Mamang. But there are families especially the well-to-do or the rich. They call their Papa as Daddy, and Mama as Mommy.

In my case, I simply call my father as tatay, the sweetest name calling I could make to my beloved father. And for my mother, I call her nanay. Another sweet name calling I could make her happy.

In the Philippines, we term it as there is money in the trash. Every morning or late in the afternoon, you can see homeless people roaming around our small city, picking up empty plastic bottles, aluminum beer cans or soft drink cans. No newspaper is disposed of in the garbage.

They segregated those pieces trash and put them in the separate receptacles. After they weighed them, they sold them to the scrap dealer and went home with their money.

Others recycle the items they gathered in making toys, container for veggies, flowers, among others. Then they’re going to sell them and earn a considerable income. In my case, I have recycled used folders into various instructional materials for my teachers to use in their teaching. They’re also used in a letter cutting for the title or inscription at the stage for our program. Empty paint cans are also reused for potted plants.

My first and latest relationship I have had is the same. It doesn’t change. It only improves and becomes even better. My wife and I had been married for 44 years. We had maintained our good relationship. We’re faithful to each other. Any misunderstanding between us, we settle it right away. We never sleep with our problem. We never harbor grudges between us. We set a good example for our children.

Our best weapon when we are confused is to kneel down together and pray fervently. Then we will be surprised what the Lord has done to us. We have the peace of mind. We feel the inner happiness within us. Our membership in the Church becomes strong. We never backslide. We keep on moving forward by keeping the commandments and laws of God. Our relationship has led us to believe that our family could be together forever.

It is my faith in God that has put me to what I am right now. This is the kind of faith that I have developed, accepted, and practiced in the way I live sometime in 1980. It was 36 years ago when I knew the importance of faith, when I knew that God lives, when I knew He answers my prayer, when I knew He has provided me of my needs, the health and the well-being of my family, my wife, my children, and myself.

I had surpassed the bitter trials in my life. I had lost my first job, but God had provided me the better way to serve Him. In serving Him, I have received  blessings which I couldn’t count anymore. I have fully realized the importance of having unwavering faith in God. Trials and challenges may weaken you, but your faith does make you strong, formidable, and immovable in relying all of your needs to Him. I have faith that works.

@bestwriter, it’s nice to hear that for the third time of cashing out. Now, you are comfortable with this site. It has no qualms, no but’s and if’s. LB does pay for our hard work, for our diligence, for our thoughts that deserve to be shared online. Right now, I am struggling to reach $10 for as of this writing my available balance is $4.00. It would a long, long way to go. Anyway, I would do my best to reach the minimum. If I could make it this September, it would be paid on October, is that correct?

By the way, I am missing lots of my connections here, my friends. I don’t know how they are doing with this site. What I have seen in the popular topics and the latest blog posts are written by the newbies. There was a handful of old members. As I go over with this site, I have come across some issues like the delay of getting their post published or live. The discrimination of publishing new blogs is another issue. The admin/support so far hadn’t given his/her side.

Anyway, I am very supportive of this site. In fact, I had already given my side and the instances why those issues had cropped up. And I plainly stated it: take it or leave it.

Though I am the breadwinner in our family, my wife and I share the responsibility in leading our family. I am the head of the family and she supports me. When I am away, she takes the lead in the taking care of our family. We adapt the principle of shared responsibility. It is the true spirit of making one’s family happy, contented and God-fearing.

This month of September we are going to celebrate the week-long family activities. It is our usual practice to bring along my family to the Church, to eat together, to have fun together, and to observe the God-inspired program about the family. You could appreciate how your family members do things together as one family. It is our belief that family could be together forever.

We may adopt the title as the leader of our family for as father I have the authority to lead my family towards the attainment of life eternal by being obedient to God’s commandments and laws. But as for me, my wife and I are leading our family

I have not noticed it. But as for me, every time I leave a comment, make a blog post my available balance keeps on changing. Probably you are right. It is a glitch. You have to inform the admin about this or the support for they will check on it. It would indeed a loss of points or coins if your activity doesn’t record or credit to your available balance.

You should follow it up. PM the @admin or @support about this. I know for sure they are going to attend to this problem. Well, in fairness for LB, there are instances that this scenario was really happening, but the admin/support is quick enough to address the issue. And those unrecorded credits or coins are being credited to the members who  have been affected. Hope your concern or problem about this would be acted upon right away.

It is not the number of words or characters which your blog contained. It is the quality of your article. The most you can get from writing a blog is 0.22 and the least is 0.15 for 300 words minimum. The point in writing in any site is the quality of the topic, its relevance, its importance to the readers. This is one of the misconceptions a web writer usually expects. The more words or the long post they have written, they like to expect to receive a better points or coins.

The post or the comment we are making here is measured by the built-in script or the so-called java script. It is already being programmed. You won’t be receiving more than the maximum points to your blog post. You will be only disgusted if your expectation is not being met. Better be wise and smart in writing a post. Stick to the rule. There is no added pionts or bonus for an excess number of words required or for a long post.

The quality is the factor that really counts. Or to pu it simply, it is SEO quality post for a good if not better readership and ranking in the search engine.

That is a lot of hard work. Imagine for 5,000 points, you’re paid $15. That means per thousand points you’re credited with $0.003. If you earn it within a month, it means you’ve to get a point of 0.0001. It is the same with myLot. It is tedious. It is tiresome. Anyway, you’ve made it. Congratz!

I have left myLot for awhile for I find it hard really to reach a dollar. Especially to reach $10 for a minimum payoff. So I have to look for a better site with an effort worth paying for a reasonable time. It is easy to get enough points in BB, but the site is under experimentation. Here in LB, it is in the middle, but it pays. Your sacrifice, your hard work is well compensated. That is why I have come back after a month of having a vacation to another site. I need to have more patience in overcoming this tedious work of writing.

Congratz! You’re a hardworking LBer. You deserve to be paid higher for such resourcefulness. I am also trying to apply that technique in increasing my earnings here. It is too tedious to writing a blog post, to making a comment gearing towards a number of words to get the desired coins. And at the end, my coins increased so much.

I have limited connections with social media. I have to double time for as of this writing I am more than $3. I have to spend much time to keep on writing and writing until I get tired and exhausted. But it is impossible. My only time is during night time. I have a weak resistance in burning my midnight candle. I could easily get sleepy. So how could I do that?

Later on, I will know how to boost my earning capacity to its maximum and feel happy about it. What worries me now is the delay in approving my blog post. I have no control over it. It is at the mercy of the admin and the moderators, I think. What about @support?

@egzoski, you’ve just joined here and you’re, of course, new to the common issues that were presented for the admin for resolution. The issue of enabling “edit” option to either in the blog post or in the forum. We’ve no action so far from the admin. We’ve no choice but to be extra careful of what we post so that it would be in order.

By the way, the only thing that we could edit is our comment we post in the subject forum. After we post our comment in the said forum, we have still a few minutes to edit it. If you are keen enough to observe it, you could see it on the right lower portion of the comment box, after you’re done with your comment. Check it after you react in this comment of mine.

Remember there are lots of common issues that we had already sent to the admin for action. If you’ve time, try to search them. That is a good move to do before you create a query or question in the forum. You will be facing more irritating “issues” here. Your patience is all it takes to handle them all. If you’re not that kind of person, you’ll get easily hurt and frustrated.

It’s time to be adjusted. It’s time to make yourself comfortable by knowing all those things. Take you time. Good day!

I have just come back after a month of inactivity. I am a bit surprised seeing my friends here complaining about the delay of their uploaded posts for approval, the delay of their payoff. What’s up? I do sympathize with them for I would be experiencing that too if I had been a month ago.

Anyway, with due respect to LiteracBase which in any manner had already been paying those who had made their cash out sometimes, including me. @admin, @support are apt to clarify matters in issue here. But lately, they’re not in the immediate mode of replying those things. We have to understand that they’re busy too for they’ve other things doing aside from LB.

We are looking for our efforts be appropriately compensated for we’re entitled to them. We’ve done them legitimately. In my own sentiment, I have to understand them. I have to put my own shoes for them. They’re in the position to do what matters to them. I have to adjust and conform for their actions.

If I could sustain that situation and I couldn’t wait long, I have to give up and find a better site which could provide what I want to, what I need to. When I joined this site, I have read the FAQs, especially the limitations so that I could make a proper adjustment and be comfortable with.

I have no right to demand what I want, for I join here for free. I haven’t paid any penny. Therefore, I would let myself subject to their terms. That is my personal conviction and commitment to this site.

There are many ways of transferring a data in the computer to another computer or device.

1. Use a flash drive. It is usually the USB device inserted to the computer USB terminal. Open the files to be transferred. click them and copy to USB. The steps are so simple.

2. Use an external drive. This is costly compared to USB device. It could hold many files even up to 200 gigabytes. The procedure is still the same in copying files and transfer to another location. This time, it is an external drive.

3. Transfer via Bluetooth. Single files or files with a few bytes, or documents, pictures could be transferred or sent via Bluetooth. Provided that the computer or the laptop has the Bluetooth facility installed.

4. Pull out the hard disk and transfer it to another computer which is running. After attaching it to another computer, a new drive will appear. Now start selecting the files to be transferred to a new drive.

5. Copy the files to a CD or DVD. This method had been long used several years. Nevertheless, this could serve the purpose, especially in transferring the data to CD or DVD.

6. If it does not run, use a bootable CD. This time, the dead computer would run by a new boot coming from the CD inserted. There could be an instance that this would occur.

Me too. I don’t have one or two in the bush. I am just contented with those blogs in my hand. I am no good in marketing, in promoting my site. I just write and write, and write. I am hoping with lots of connections I have in the various social media, I could have it later or sooner more promising sites in the bush.

I am working it out. In fact, I have already received emails offering their help in promoting my blogs. I haven’t replied them or given them the nod for they’re asking for a fee. I am confused whether to go with their bid or I will just stay as calm as I am. Should I give it a try? Should I not be regretting at the end?

What I have right now is that my site is earning a penny is for a text-ad adverts and a sponsored ads or posts. In any way, I received a penny every time the duration of the adverts end. Usually, it takes a month. It is accumulated every month. Sometimes, I don’t have any.

Well, to keep my penny earning going, I write to sites like the myLot, LB, BlogJob, and the latest is BB which seems to be under experimentation, though it has formally been launched on the 1st day of August.

The answer depends on the will of the writer. It is his desire to do one or the other. Writing a blog post could save an effort to gain a better reward. Writing a forum or replying to a forum could earn also a penny. Whatever the writer would like to do as I have said is dependent on his desire which he feels comfortable to do it.

Writing new blog post is considered the most important part on this site, LiteracyBase as mentioned in its reward scheme. It takes the time to do it. The write has to follow what is required. It should be an original write-up. It conforms with the taste of the readers or to appeal to the readership of what is written. Adult topics or porn pieces or posts are taboo. They aren’t allowed.

This part is the most controversial among the writers in LB. It has to be approved by the admin first before it goes live. It takes more a day. Though it says it would be acted upon within 24 hours. But it is not so. It would take longer when the assigned moderators aren’t available. So this is a bit a minus point as far as writing activity here is concerned.

Writing a forum or giving a comment is the easiest job a writer could do. It may right away earn the coins depending on the quality of the common. So most of the writers preferred to do more forum writing and commenting, rather than blog writing.
