Depression has been called the world’s number one public health problem. It’s actually so widespread that it’s been compared to the common cold. The scary difference though is that the common cold can’t kill you […]

    • I think that feelings of severe despondency and dejection. “self-doubt creeps in and that swiftly turns to depression”

Anyone suffering from depression will tell you, it’s not imaginary or “all in your head.” Depression is more than just feeling “down.” It is a serious illness caused by changes in brain chemistry. Research tells us that other factors contribute to the onset of depression, including genetics, changes in hormone levels, certain medical conditions, stress, grief or difficult life circumstances.

Men and women of every age, educational level, and social and economic background suffer from depression. There is no area of life that does not suffer when depression is present. Marriage, parenting, friendships, careers, finances – every aspect of daily living is compromised by this disease. Once an episode of depression occurs, it is also quite likely that it will recur.

And the impact of depression can be even more severe when it occurs in combination with other medical illnesses such as diabetes, stroke, or cardiovascular disease, or with related disorders such as anxiety or substance abuse.

Let your emotions be peaceful and do not be greedy an do not crave for the things that cannot be bought will be no depression.

Doing business on eBay may look new to a few people. Yet, for some other people, getting some experience with eBay by doing business through it may be under consideration in their mind. Whatever may be the ideas […]

    • I have never used eBay but my husband tried it. My son used to use it a lot. But these days not so much. Still! It’s a good place to find good stuff!

    • Ebay is not a good place to find good stuff as one blog writer says and I think it will be not a good place because most of the people have tried their best in ebay for buying and selling goods.

Describe the item you’re selling. Then add up to 12 free photos from your computer or mobile device. Use a neutral background, and take photos from all angles.

Choose the fixed price listing format when you know the market value for your item. Use the auction-style listing format for special or unique items, or when you don’t know the value of the item. The quick listing tool suggests pricing and shipping options that attracts the most buyers based on similar successful sales.

Successful shipping starts with careful planning. eBay helps you calculate postage, add tracking information and insurance, print labels, and pay—all from the comfort of your home. If you plan right, you can even ship items without ever having to take a trip to the post office.

    • Yes, you are right. I would prefer to run or jog in the park, rather than in the gym, as there is more fresh air outside. 😀
But I think some would prefer proper training in gym, as there are professional trainers who guide them to do the workout and perhaps they know how much they have improved. Moreover, some might think it is too boring to jog alone in the park. I have friends who prefer to pay and go to gym. 🙂

@Your Seldom That sounds a good suggestion I think I should write more and leave nothing to chance. Yes I agree Support is doing a good job but you know I have a bad habit of whining around which I should get rid off. Thanks for your suggestion.

@shavkat  I am dealing with a similar situation now.  One coworker is picking on a member at the mental health center where I work.  I brought it up in a general way at our last advisory board meeting and she jumped to defend herself, claiming he was doing things which he’s not.  Next time she begins to pick at him it seems like I’m going to hav…[Read more]

I got that message as well the day this was posted.  Now I go there and just get a blank white page.  I am glad I only had about 200 points there but it’s awful of them to just shut down without paying out what people had in their accounts.  With them being such a long standing site, you’d think they would handle things professionally.  I’m sur…[Read more]

I lost two good jobs due to backstabbers.  One was a coworker who did it to me because I did my duty to call child protective services about a student who was being abused at home.  She was mad I’d done it because she should have done it but did not.  I guess she was afraid someone would find out she hadn’t and her job would be in danger.  She the…[Read more]

The online jobs that claim you can earn easy money are scams.  Doing most online work requires a large time commitment and a lot of hard work.  So far, the only current sites I’ve had success with are here and MyLot.  It is hard to write articles which get views and/or get replies but that is the way you get your earnings.  This is a good pla…[Read more]

I am in agreement that the autoplay video isn’t needed on every single page.  There is a fine line between usability and overkill – having it on every page is crossing that line.  If it’s everywhere, then people aren’t going to pay attention to it anyway.  Selective placement will have a better impact.

GoAskAlice is a good site owner. I believe that in general, he wants users to do their own thing and just to realize that the more they interact, the more they earn. It’s a very unique site, though. I like to say that MyLot has done a much better job of producing a Facebook-like atmosphere that provides revenue to users than Bubblews did when…[Read more]

I had always figured that “popular” came from something like the number of friends a user has, plus maybe the amount of interactions that involve that person. I’m sure the algorithm factors in other things but it’s possible, with the right combination, for it to appear pretty stagnant.
