Another it’s a girl thing post once more! So guys please don’t read. And if you do, don’t come to me and tell me you got offended. I warned you, right? I just thought that since I have been writing product revie […]

    • Me personally I’d rather wear pads instead of tampons. The doctor even tells you it’s not good for you. It can cause overian cancer, abnormal pats and just discomfort. I have worn tampons but I just the like how they feel it makes me uncomfortable. Yeah you feel clean wearing them but heck that I’ll choose a paid anyway. It’s more safer. You’ll be surprised if the woman that had to get tampons pulled out of them cause a simple mistake like forgetting to take one out before you put another one in ( yes this really happens) causing bad infections. I rout for padds. I lover wearing the long ones tho to be sure to keep myself right. You know what I mean ladies.and for the men reading you wouldn’t even understand. (Thanks for caring enough to read tho)

      • Wow, I never thought that wearing tampons can be that SCARY!!! I haven’t tried wearing it (not even once) since I have quite a heavy period so I am not sure how that small little thing can be enough to keep everything in (you know what I mean?!).

    • I used tampons. They are not a problem. Buy the smallest one, insert, use it with a pad, just in case it is too small for your needs.

    • That’s a nice custom or tradition that you made for yourself to do. Though you didn’t do it for the glory or the thanks, it will always be something your friends will remember about you. SO even if you are busy, take some time to keep it going. 🙂

    • A good practice that you have adopted, whatever it may be when Christmas time comes your friends and relatives will remember you for the good times. That is a very important thing you have achieved over the period of years following the system. Happy christmas and New Year to you in Advance. Have a great time this season and relax and spend time with family and friends.

    • That’s nice to know that you tried it and that you didn’t throw it away.I can tell you for a fact that lemon is the best skin regime you would give your skin. I know lemon may punch a bit when you apply it on your face because of its acid content but it’s the best there ever was. I took some time and asked a friend of mine who had beautiful glowing skin all the time what she did or used to make her skin look so radiant. The answer that she gave me for me thinking for a while, but I eventually tried it out for while and I can say for a fact that I loved the results. The first time I applied it it pinched and was feeling like it was too harsh but I had been forwarned that it would react that way. So I persevered for some minutes then washed it off the next time I did it it didn’t punch so much and I suddenly started getting used to it and it has done marveloys work.lemon keeps the skin firm and make a it flow. If you have acne it dries it up and leaves no blemishes that’s just how good it is. I have never regretted trying it out, I don’t use cleansers or shrubs this is what n use every other week and I love it.

    • That is a crisp review! Keep going!

    • that is great review and well posted there, thanks i will consider that product, seems good and i liek trying at online stores some products for the skin more and the body also, thank you for your review

Gil Camporazo wrote a new post, Keeping Marriage to Last Forever 7 years, 11 months ago

When we first exchanged our “I Dos” 44 years ago, we kept in mind that our marriage would last till death. The officiating city judge told us that our vow was binding “till death do we part”. That’s it. We were 21 […]

    • Both the parties must understand the feelings of other if they want to make their life full of blessings and joys. They will have to take good care of each other.

It is an art, and one must learn this art. One must try to master this field.

    • First congratulations on such a long standing marriage and for keeping God at the center of your marriage. Holy Matrimony is a sacred sacrament binding by God. He is the glue to the union and without him the union suffers and eventually dies.

    • Wow i am so pleased to know thatyou have been married for so long. Marriage is based on the word of God and if you do not base it on the word of God then you are boumd to fail and not even last for very long. When you pray together and talk to each other regarding the problems that you have in your marriage the marriage will last for a very long time because then you are yrusting in God to give you wisdom on how to deal with the issues that crop up in the marriage.God never fails those that call upon him for help. Actually i should congratulate you on the many years that you have been together. I can understand when you say that during the first years you had issues because you were both young and trying to umderstand how marriage works. It was obviously not easy but you overcame because you pryed together. May God continue to grant you wisdom and bless your marriage for as long as you both shall live.

      • Thanks for the praise. I am so glad to hear it. You’re right that marriage which is based on the word of God should surely be successful or otherwise it would fail. The scriptures are our guiding principles on the way we live, on the way we treat each other as the married couple or husband and wife.

cessy08 wrote a new post, Leftover Osso Buco With Roasted Vegetables Risotto Recipe 7 years, 11 months ago

This is one of those recipes patiently waiting for my attention to get published. And since it is that time of the year *again* (gasp, what happened to 2016?!), I thought I’d post this now before I receive another […]

    • I am unfamiliar with what buco meat is. But this do look good. I wonder if I could replace the buco meat with turkey or even chicken breast. I haven’t had Italian food in awhile now.

      • Oh, definitely! I have used Italian sausage or chicken breasts in making risotto a lot of times and it turned out nicely.

    • Yes, I also do not know buco meat I have heard first time buco meat but read many times. I know it is made as
      INGREDIENTS
4 heads fennel, fronds removed, halved length-ways
4 medium courgettes, cut 2’’ thick on the bias
      30ml olive oil
      1 onion, finely chopped
      1 garlic clove, crushed
      ½ tsp fennel seeds
      400g canned chopped tomatoes
      1tb tomato puree
      75ml orange juice
      700ml vegetable stock
      12 pitted black olives
      75g raisins
      30g toasted pine nuts
      2 tb coarsely chopped coriander

      METHOD
      For the Osso Bucco:
Preheat oven to 200c, then heat oil in large frying pan, add the onion, garlic and fennel seed and cook until softened.
Add the fennel and courgettes and cook until both take on a light golden colour.
Add the tomatoes, puree, orange juice, half the coriander and stock, then bring to the boil.
Add the olives, raisins and pine nuts, transfer to a casserole dish, cover with a lid, place in the oven to braise for 25 minutes.
      For the Risotto cake:
In a bowl mix the cooked risotto with the cheese, egg, season well with salt and pepper
Using floured hands, divide the mix into 4 equal portions.
Flatten the mix to that of a thick pancake, then fry them in hot oil in a non-stick frying pan until golden and crispy, you will probably need to do it in batches.

      • Thanks for sharing your research. The osso buco meat that I used for this was already pre-prepared and so I only need to use it for this recipe.

    • As some users have already opined this meat is new to me too but may be this recipe can be used with other meats as well.

      • I only heard of this type of meat when I lived in Australia. 🙂 And then last year, a friend gave us a vacuum-sealed osso buco. She said it is a traditional meat often eaten during the Christmas/New Year season.
